They showed him lighting the match, but he dropped the match from what they showed, then cut to a happy monkey face. After that, they just cut to the stick on fire. The location of where the fire started and how much the fire spread was about in-line with the time they cut to his face and where the match was dropped from what I could tell. Looked like the match was dropped on the kindling, too. Poor editing, but I doubt this is fake. Monkeys can do a lot of simple shit.

Might be time to watch Harry and the Hendersons.

Not only that, there are only small sticks on the fire that it shows him building but the fire he is roasting the marshmallows on has much bigger pieces of wood on it.

Notice the title of the video, it is a preview for a new show. This video was carefully edited to make it appear that much more was going on then actually was to promote a new show. Media companies have no problem lying to you if there is money to be made.
