I don't really watch others eat... Especially in public restaurants, but I guess eating with your mouth open is disgusting?
 
i would say smacking your lips, have food falling out your mouth, picking food out of your teeth sucking air through your teeth......pickign you nose, grunting and possibley farting all while chewing with you mouth open may qualify as more uncouth and disgusting...

you know what, you're right. but i'm currently traveling for work, and this place is like taking Walmart clientele and making an entire town out of just those people.

However, i work in an office environment and this dumba$$ uses chewing tobacco, and spits on the carpeted floor, and rubs it into the floor with his foot. :disgust:

that does not always help.

my dad took me to a high class place. next to us was a guy was smacking his lips and chewing with his mouth open. it was rather disgusting.

I can safely say you'd go insane if you ate a meal with my FIL. Mouth open, talking while chewing....it's horrifying. Meals are torture.

Good thing we don't see them very often. 😀

My father isn't much better, but I tolerate it better. Now licking the mayo off the knife or spoon....:disgust:
