My dad does it... I hate it. But he can't breathe well through his nose, so I guess he kind of has to in order to breathe.

At work my office is near the kitchen, and I'm constantly hearing people chewing food as they walk back to their office... and I can even hear them when they're chewing in the kitchen. I have to shut my door sometimes it's so bad.

Seriously, why are you going to a restaurant, to eat or to watch others eat? Just chew your damn food and don't stick your nose in other's business...

Oh, d00d, wow this reminds me of "Noisy Stinky Noodle" when i was in the hospital. This fsck was a fob (no english at all save for "I PEE" meaning "im in pain" to the nurses) and would have relatives bring him the nastiest smelling noodles which were slurped, WHILE he sucked his teeth, and spit out stuff apparently deemed inappropiate to eat. Spit out by turning his head and spitting mind you. His food smelt SO bad that i would have to leave. He had NO sense of consideration AT ALL. Relatives/friends/whatever would show up at midnight while he was out on meds and wouldnt care that he was out. They would ALL start slurping/sucking/spitting together! FSCK! Do most immigrants not have the first clue of consideration in society? Not to mention a hospital.
 
what the OP said but add the scraping of teeth on fork after each bite. I literally want to bitch slap people when i hear them do that.

i mostly keep to myself but if i was in your shoes it would warrant a "WTF ARE YOU A GOD DAMN NEANDERTHAL???" then i would demand the hospital move either him or me to a different room.

I'm TRYING to mind my own business, but perhaps unlike you, I don't have selective hearing, and I have no choice but to listen to someone going SMACK SLURP SMACK CHEW CHEW SMACK SLURP at the next table.
