Console port? The Witcher is a PC exclusive.
Also, why do people think this is supposed to be a hack and slash game? It's an RPG, so everyone really needs to stop thinking it's going to have some sort of complex dexterous combat system that holds up the entire game. It's just a slightly more interactive version of point and click combat ala Neverwinter Nights, where your character build and potion use is the more deciding factor.
In other words, I don't buy Call of Duty, and then complain that it doesn't offer a deep role playing experience.
It's a hack n slash game in that you have to constantly click to launch attacks. It's not like the D&D RPGs like Dragon Age. It would be fine if it was automated, but it's not. You have to manually attack and move, yet the combat is the most clunky of any game I've ever played. I wanted to punch my monitor or at least strangle the jerky scarecrow player character with the sword up in the air like you're chopping firewood.
I've been playing RPGs for a long time... Zelda, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, Ultima VIII, Baldur's Gate, Everquest, NWN, Icewind Dale, Dragon Age (clunky combat but at least it was effectively turn based). So don't try to pull that "you don't know anything about RPGs" malarchy!
