Yup I have noticed this on the horse mostly. There does seem to be a delay in response, that makes you overshoot many things..at least for me. It doesnt' seem to be a framerate issue, just simply you click GO THIS WAY, and it takes 1 second or so to do it. Does not seem to be an issue for attacking, just for movement.
Another one I missed out on,a lot of bugs in this game if you have a look at the patch notes for 1.07,I do feel they could of waited a good month or two before releasing TW3.the Zoltan gwent card should now always be present beneath the Hanged Man's Tree if the player does not win it earlier in White Orchard.
Serious question: Would I like Witcher 3? Trying to decide whether to buy it for this weekend.
From the videos I've watched, I can't really tell if it's my type of game. I've heard the actual gameplay/fighting is mediocre, which would be fine if the story/voice acting/presentation were good, but the reviews and videos make the game seem very meh in terms of story. FWIW, I tried to play Witcher 1 way back in the day and couldn't get into it.
Here are my opinions of games I've heard people compare Witcher to for various reasons:
Dragon Age - did not like
Mass Effect - did not like
Souls/Bloodborne - really liked
World of Warcraft - liked
Shadow of Mordor - liked
Skyrim - meh (somewhere between "liked" and "did not like")
Fable - meh

The only game that's really like the Witcher 3 is Witcher 2. I couldn't get into the first game either (despite trying 3 times) but loved the second and third. I'd recommend getting 2 when it's dirt cheap on gog or steam and if you like it then buy the Witcher 3.
they aren't really similar, though. I couldn't get into Witcher 1 and 2 at first, either, even though putting some 20-30 hours into each.
I recently replayed Witcher 2 ahead of the release of 3, finally got into it, but I still don't consider it all that special.
Much more than Witcher 1, Witcher 2 is on rails. It basically plays like Call of Duty with swords and magic and blah blah political story about blah blah kingdom doing who-gives-a-turd, really.
Witcher 3 is phenomenal. The political bollocks is there, but it's really quite ancillary to the main story, and the side stories, which are far more personal and far more engaging. It is open-ended, free-roaming, go wherever the hell you want and when you want.
I would honestly recommend people that have tried the first 2 and couldn't get into them, to just forget them all together and go straight to 3. The fighting mechanics aren't horrible, but it does get repetitive after many many hours...but this is true of every game. ...every game. It's very mobile, very fluid, and offers you some choices between 2 main styles that you prefer--sword focused or magic focused, or a bit of both. I find it to be the best use of Witcher's style of combat out of the 3 games, and it removes the tedium of the stupid potion/meditation/alchemy interface from the previous 2 games.
Maybe go back to the first 2 games if you thoroughly enjoy 3 and want more of the background, though I imagine Witcher 1, especially, would be difficult to get into.
Damn im still low lvl,,out of interest what lvl where you when you thought im done here? btw i think there is some skill involved in which quests you take😛.secondry?,monster,treasure?...*edit* for the third time i can only play at the weekends, picking and choosing quests seems a skill in itself*shrug*
On max difficulty, I felt everything got way too easy by ~level 22--24 or so. I guess when you can craft your first enhanced Witcher set which, for me, was the Cat set. I love the light armor Cat skill attribute, but it probably needs some serious balancing.
Granted, things can still kill you rather easily if they hit you, but enough experience you learn how to not get hit, which is really the primary function of the combat system: 3 out of 4 standard "fight moves" is damage avoidance. So, that should tell you something. 😛
So, it was both easy and still challenging enough for me to enjoy it, but I felt like I could still take on most things. Contracts ceased to be difficult. I no longer had to Yrden any kind of wraith or worry about oils and potions all that often, for example: I just swing and they die.
But, at that point, you do feel like you are going through the motions: clean up some side missions, clear some events, dabble with the main story or ignore it because you still don't want everything to end.
I estimate that the final 100 hours of my 200 hour playthrough, I was feeling like this is pretty much over, I'm just dragging things out. ...It's still fun though. 😛

I liked and enjoyed all three games, although it took me a bit of time to get into 1. IMO 3 is the best though. It's a masterful game, right up with the classics. It will win many GOTY awards imo.
