The Witcher 2 has a very good combat system, that makes you feel like you are slightly better than those around you without making you feel.like some sort of God like other RPGs. I was very impressed when I played it, and I am amazed that some prefer Skyrim to it (although Skyrim is very good too.)

According to target.com, my nearest Target was out of stock of the basic TW2 version - but a store 10 miles away had "limited availability."
I got there and apparently got the last copy. It seems like that version is basically out of stock everywhere around me. Glad I got this one.

But it has taken just about all damned day to download the backup copy.
Of course, halfway into downloading the multi-part bin files through Chrome, I discovered that 1) sliding that little toggle and downloading the official GOG.com Downloader app would provide a single-file download (at least, appears that way - looked split in the destination folder)). And it seemed to be going faster than Chrome's individual file downloads.
So I got to thinking - opened up Firefox, installed Download Them All, and faster downloads were to be had! :) Same reason why the GOG Downloader was faster - multiple connections to the server.

I have learned something: massive files, I might avoid Chrome (depends on the server in question, of course - I've maxed my line on Chrome numerous times, but wasn't happening today).

But yeah, since I already had half the 2gb bin files, I just got the rest of them through DTA/Firefox. Thankfully, the installer determined the files had full integrity, and is almost finished now.
Just in time to get a quick "play around in the menu of a new game, maybe test graphics" session, then I'm off to bed since I have to get up at the ass crack of dawn.
