Earlier Post said hub was updated to .56. I thought current version was .55. Has anyone else seen this update or know what changed?
 
Y, I never got notification for .55 . . . it's definitely .56 and has the Cree lamps. Just took a couple of tries to get it and come back online.

I could only write for devices I have since I don't have the data for others, primarily the desired_state field. Wink is a bit weird in that when you look at the data for various products, it doesn't seem to have any hard a fast rules(while data objects start with the ID, trippers don't)
 
I tried to add a Aeon Labs Minimote using the manual Z-wave process. It added an "unknown device" entry under my hub. I want to remove it.

I've tried clicking on the entry, and then clicking on "remove failed node". I've also tried pressing "-" device button on the remote, and then "remove failed node". And i've tried putting the hub into exclusion mode and then pressing the "-" device button on the remote. Nothing has worked.

Does anyone know how to remove the "unknown device" entry under the hub?

It's usually the opposite of pairing.
So put in exclusion mode then press whatever you pressed on the minimote to include it. If that doesn't work, try double-pressing it or long-pressing it.
Watch your hub and it'll blink if it excluded it.
 
Couple of questions. first I cant seem to add any devices to my hub, the app keeps telling me the hub needs to be updated, I have told it to update 3 times. 2. I have a lutron appliance module and I know that the status is terrible, but another problem I have is how do I turn it off and on without the app? If someone else needs to use that outlet that doesnt have the app? 3. I know that the old spotter has bad reviews, but are they due to the hardware or the app, because, you get a lot more functionality for less money with the old one vs the new one. I would really like to add a motion sensor for the lights.

The iris ones at lowes are only $20. If they can get these devices so cheap then home depot needs to match it with their own.
 
I installed a Leviton R02-DZS15-1LZ switch today and it works well other than status reporting with Wink. I should have the remotes in a few days - hopefully that will go smoothly as well. They are a bit more to install the the Lutrons, but I had zero luck with the caseta switches- both burned up on power up. So far so good with the Leviton.

I am going to stick with Wink for the time being and hopefully they can fix the compatibility issues with zwave (fingers crossed.) Wonder why status is such a problem with Wink- I have read that Zwave work fine with smart things?

I also got 2 of the trippers on Sat and installed one and so far it is working well. I have heard there is some kind of battery drain issue so I hope Wink can sort that out as well.

Also I posted a FB video showing the new switch working with my tablet. A friend posted back that she works for this company. Anyone know about them?

Double check the four fields in OAuth(userID, password, winkID, and wink Secret). One of them is wrong. UserID and password are the same one's you use to log into the wink app. You can check the wink ID and secret over in the comments for OAuth at wink's api site.
 
I have to say I'm really confused about Centralite. From their web page: "The world's most affordable wireless whole-home lighting control." But shopping around for product availability, I see dimmers from $70-140 (ouch!) with mostly no product availability. OTOH, the company seems solid.

It just wasnt working. It now doesnt give me that error. But when i do a command via google. The black box pops up says possible command. But nothing ever happens. I habe no idea how to troubleshoot it because i cant find any info on it.

It definitely works for me. The one thing that I had to as I was scrolling the tasks steps, I mistakenly reordered the steps instead of scrolling. In tasker if you use your finger in the right side it moves the task/step to a different order. If you use your finger on the left side then it scrolls through the tasks/steps. Reording anything in the tasks this will cause it not to work. I mistakenly did this and not knowing how to undo it. So I deleted the project and reimported it and being careful how I scroll. I put it my email wink address and password and was able to get devices from api and do voice control. Hope this helps.
