To be clear, while I think the Republican Party is very appealing to racists, I'm not actually accusing the Republican Party of being racist here. When I say 'white ethnic party' I don't mean 'white nationalist' or something like that where the Republican Party is deliberately pursuing a race-based agenda. What I mean by it is that their policies are such that they appeal almost exclusively to white people.

I wasn't claiming you did, sorry if you thought so. There are plenty of things that this administration has done and said that I do not like. Things could have been worded better, not said at all, not done, etc. I do think that most of what the left claims is racist or terrible is just silly and hypocritical. How long did CNN and the left go on and on about Stormy? Then CNN glamorized Kennedy's affairs recently. Gave Clinton a pass, still do. Popular late show making fun of Melania's accent, how do you think that would go if a conservative did that to a Latino or Muslim person? Yet it was cheered. Not the first time this has happened. Many people here mock Christians, as well as the MSM. Macking fun of them, making very crude comments about their faith. That is being a bigot. But its ok, because its about Christians. Do that to a Muslim? Might as well jump off a cliff because they will ruin your life. Just because I don't believe in taking everyone's guns, doesn't mean I hate children. Yet some on the left will try to make you believe that. I believe there is a huge double standard in a lot of things, the list is very long. None of it is ok. No matter who it is against. Yet depending on who its towards, it is deemed ok. Common sense is not so common anymore.

Fair enough, but hopefully I've cleared up the fact that I am not saying the disparity is due to racism. The disparity is due to the fact that for whatever reason the Republican Party appeals almost exclusively to white people and that seems pretty weird to me.

You did clear it up, thanks. I do agree that it does, and I wish it didn't. That very far right, and very far left are the loudest. I think most people are more moderate left or right. Yet the 10% makes the most noise, and makes both look bad. I truly believe that most people in America are still good people> Hard working, care about their neighbors, about our country, and want the best for us. I know I do. That 10% pisses me the fuck off. To some because I am a white male republican, I should die. I am a racist. I am a bigot. My heritage is slavery. Never mind the fact that I had zero relatives in the US during that time. My mother was an immigrant at 6 years old, yet I hate all immigrants. Because I am a white republican. Facts don't matter to those people. Their blind hatred is pathetic. And on the opposite side, its the same. These people make me sick, and do nothing but bring us down. Like a lot of people on these forums. Don't agree with me, then I will call you every name in the book and degrade you. They think they are righteous and doing fighting the good fight. When all they are doing is more harm, acting like the people they accuse.

Please note that I'm not making any statements about your personal beliefs. You've certainly never said anything that I can think of which would make me think you were some sort of bigot. To me it says a lot of things though, none of them good, that nonwhite people in the US seem to have a big problem being a part of the Republican Party. While I don't think the whole party is racist by any means I do find that the party does not seem uncomfortable with making common cause with racists. Also, Trump currently enjoys sky-high approval ratings among Republicans and he's the first explicitly racist presidential candidate that we've had in a very long time. It's disturbing.

I do agree that non whites don't care for the Republican Party as whole. We may disagree on why, but we both think its a bad thing. Its also disturbing that Democrats, even those on Congress, support and have been seen with Louis Farrakhan. And will not denounce him. He is clearly an anti-Semite. He has called Hitler a "very great man". Can you even imagine if Trump said that? Once again, a double standard. I do not like many things about Trump. I did not vote for him. He says many things that make me think wtf is he even thinking. Yet I like some things he is trying to do, and he is our President. I don't necessarily support him but I don't want him to fail in things I agree with. Blacks have always voted Democrat for whatever reason. Blindly I would even say based on personal experience. Yet looking at the major cities that have had Dems running them, its not been good at all. Black support has been historic in the past for a certain President as well, and their voting.

I ranted and rambled a bit, sorry. I really could go on an on about it, but really all I was getting at was that looking at a static picture and claiming that the WH or Trump doesnt want anyone else than whites is silly. Not that you specifically thought or said that. Plenty here did. There are many underlying reasons that the people were chosen. It is just ignorant and not smart to look at it and think like they do. I firmly believe in putting the best people in the jobs, no matter what. Diversity would be fucking fantastic! Yet not at the expense of putting a lesser qualified person above someone else. We need to look at the reasons why, and attempt to fix those. As I mentioned, a big one of a HS diploma. You really can't do a lot for jobs without one. When less than 70% of blacks graduate HS, when they are only about 12% of the total population in the US, this is a problem. We need to bring up that number. Also as I said, if the Trump WH put some white kid in front of a person of another color, they should be dealt with. And everyone involved. Its not acceptable. Until then, making ignorant claims does nothing but create more hysteria based on ignorance and not facts.

Have fun!

Eh, we went to Cheddars and got her some groceries. But since all she has is a tiny fridge with no freezer, not much we could get her. Snacks and stuff. Next year she moves out in an apt, as a Freshman she had to live on campus. Made the Deans list though!

Wow really nice almost justification they-do-it-too rant.

I won't go on for a year just make 3 points.

Monica and Paula Jones got 24x7 coverage from all media for months, almost years during Clinton's term.

Louis Farrakhan did not get a job in the White House as the President's chief advisor, Steve Bannon did.

Obama did not have a problem compiling a diverse staff and not just for the sake of diversity. He hired competent people and it showed. Trump hiring almost all white people because he thinks they are the best has wrought the most corrupt/inept administration in history.
