The Talking Dead brings up a good point: not only were they too harsh, but were they too soon in attacking Negan's group? What we know so far:

1. The biker gang tried to steal all of Abraham's stuff & threatened to kill them.

2. They're forcing a tax on Gregory's group (half their stuff), which includes holding people hostage & requesting kill orders

3. They have multiple gangs roaming the state. Largest spotted so far has been 20 people.

4. Haven't met Negan yet. Don't know how big his (or her!!) resources are...people, weapons, vehicles, locations. What we do know is Negan is feared among his community & inspires gang-style loyalty. Negan could have well over a hundred people for all we know, which is scary because they're poking a big bear.

They did a good balance of what they were doing vs. being justified in doing it, ex. when Glen kills the two guys & then sees their Polaroids. You know Negan's squad is pretty scummy. Will be interesting to see where this goes...

Great episode. I could literally feel Glenn's innocence dying. Same thing with Rick. He knew he was crossing a new line.

I didn't realize he hadn't killed anyone yet.

Also forgot that Tara had to do this before, with the Governor...

Almost forgot, Gabriel turning into Samuel L. from Pulp Fiction is awesome as well.

Me too, but only because it made no sense to pick it up if you want the force of your punch to actually go into the nose.
Come on they were stabbing live humans in the head with knives and it was going through like butter and no movement from the human, but that is what you are complaining about?

Attacking Negans camp? No way. That will be finale imo.

Ok guess i was wrong. I expected the discussing, hemming and hawing, planning, etc to go on for a few episodes
Yeah, that was nice that they just jumped right into it.

I don't think that they did. I'm pretty sure this is just an outpost. Negan's group is obviously a lot bigger than that! The Hilltop people have probably never seen his base camp. They probably don't let the other communities they deal with see that.

Yeah, I'm starting to think The Saviors is more like franchise. Sort of like Burger King or the Hells Angels. You pay a fee and get to use the name and you can call in other branches if you get in trouble. OK, the second part doesn't really apply to BK but you get the idea.

Ichinisan and I discussed that while it was happening too.

I just don't know if I'm ready for the Governor on steroids for a couple of seasons. Takes too long to resolve.

"Hijo de puta." Google Translate says son of a bitch or mothereffer.

Why, thank you, Christian Serratos. I didn't have any colorful language in my Spanish vocabulary yet.

It's literally son of pussy

I liked that episode, with one exception:

They were going room to room and killing the people with a knife.... the knife apparently goes into the head smooth as butter, there's no movement or noise from the victim and they are instantly dead. That's just absurd, even beyond the ease of killing zombies with a knife through the skull.

Otherwise, I thought it was a good episode, you can clearly feel the group move into new territory as they become more like the wolves / saviors than like their former selves. Instead of just killing to protect / defend, for the first time they are really on the offensive and going after other groups based on a possible future threat.

Glenn really transformed and they did a good job showing that. The one guy was right when he said the saviors have nothing on the Ricksters in terms of being scary.

Jail cell? It sort of looked like bars

Yeah, it looks like he's building a jail. I assume that's also why they've got cinder blocks against that wall in the background as drywall isn't exactly going to keep people in. :p

Negan is not a girl. They cast a man for the role.
I think Morgan is building a cage like his mentor had.

They got the daddy from Supernatural (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) to play Negan.

I thought they were going through the eye not the skull. Still seems a little to easy and quiet though. Although I don't have any first hand experience.

I figured that they were going around the jaw and into the base of the brain.

I like how the door to the armory only passes bullets one way, but then again this is a show about zombies, there are less believable things out there.

Bullets passed both ways. Didnt you see the holes when they went in and closed the door? They ducked down so as not to get hit.

I saw that, the question is where did they go? They didn't hit any of the crap on the wall behind them. While there are 5 people outside riddled with bullets on the other side of the door.

how did you get that from the way they were holding the knives?
Because it happens off the frame and you can't see how it is held in relation to the sleeping head. It could easily rotate as it goes down but it still wouldn't be nearly as effortless as they make it out to be. It's just the only way that doesn't require going through the skull.

They probably should have gassed the compound and then gone in.
