Why are you being such a wise and beautiful woman about this? Just use spoiler tags. It's not that difficult.

Posted that reply after voluntarily editing out half my original post and I'm being a wise and beautiful woman now?

I'm hoping for zombie baby that tears itself out of the womb like the alien baby from V.

I'll never understand why people feel the NEED do this shit. Same with GoT, so happy the show is caught up.

Do people gotta be smug about reading the source and telling the masses who don't, just being assholes, or both?

:\

While normally I'd agree, in this instance, at least, there was a bit too much gushiness him for it not to happen. Mind you, they don't always follow the comic. The vibe from the last episode was one of these three people is seriously fucked.

Still spoils the comic. I'm going to finish the season before I touch Compendium Three, so spoiling Compendium Three is still a concern for me.

Still 5 episodes to go according to IMDB but I'm calling the next death as Abraham's.

They showed him finding peace last night when he was being choked which is because he saw his wife. Remember in the RV the fella talking about how when he thought Abraham was going too kill him he saw his wife and broke down? That's what happened, Abraham thought he would die and saw his wife who apologized and told him to come home. The necklace being left on the ground is symbolic that neither Rosita or Sasha is right for him and he has to be with his wife.

I speculate next couple of episodes they head towards Negan's camp and either get intercepted or captured... At some point Abraham will sacrifice himself so they can escape. This'll lead to the finale (no doubt a 2 parter) where Negan gets to Alexandria and Maggie at least gets killed off, possibly Glenn as well (though the more I think about it, the more I expect they will keep him alive and play off that next season)

My reasoning is that Maggie went from a zero to hero- she had next to no screen time and all of a sudden Rick is grooming her for leadership. Then they are talking pregnancy in the RV, she's happy Glenn is alive, the doctor wants to help them, all is well etc... everyone should know by now this is Walking Dead foreshadowing and she's as good as dead.

Edited to add: I did not read the comics... so no spoiler tags as this is speculation on my part.

I'm going to agree with several others in that I would prefer to not have any comic material in this thread. I like how the GoT has two threads so you can discuss the books if you want in its respective thread.

That said, I do think Abraham and probably somebody else are going to be killed off this season. They are spending tons of time on him.

Fairly good reasoning here, that choke scene is probably the most telling. I missed something, where did he get that necklace/what's the meaning to him?

Rosita gave to it him earlier in the episode when they were in bed talking.

Yep, the comic writers even say they wish they had not made that move now. I don't see it ever happening.

They said the CGI would be too expensive iirc. But Coral wearing an eyepatch would be cake.

I don't think the CGI would be a big deal. On Samantha Bee's show part of her intro showed her as Charelene Theron's character from Fury Road complete with mechanical arm. If a low budget show like that can do the cgi, I'm sure the most watched show on television can do it.

True. But also, remember they shoot TWD on film...so film, scan, edit. Their workflow is a lot more practical-effects based (zombies in makeup, actual fire & explosions, etc.) overall, which is what I think worked for Carl (Lifecast dummy + pirate patch).

It would be awesome to see the Ricktatorship with attachments tho...chainsaws, rifles, bayonets :D

I'm catching up on Netflix. As I'm on season 4, I have to say, what is up with that Bill Hicks looking motherfucker?

Yes Negan will make the Governor seem like lightweight.

Negan's a wise and beautiful woman.

If it's true the actors stressed out from the season finale script, then you know Negan did some fucked up shit....maybe even turboed beyond the already horrid Negan encounters.

Ya, the Guv is Mickey Mouse compared to Negan.

After watching the episode, I think it'll be Maggie... they kept hinting about raising kids in this new world and that Abraham/Glenn chat plus Rick all of a sudden giving her a leadership role ,I think she's biting it......

That's good speculation. A setup.

That would be something horrid enough to make cast members uneasy.

Didn't the actress want off the show several seasons ago over the story line of how Rick's wife gave birth?
