He was bragging about being in the ROTC & I forgot his name was Aiden 😛

lol yeah, he was talking about his "professional training" or something - I got the impression that he was basically equating his skill set with Rick's group.

So, they're systematically killing off all the black people on the show now? Who's next Sasha? Michonne?

“Look, this is something in this world that we should be cognizant about, so my feeling is: Sure, let’s get it out there, let’s talk about it,” Hurd told me. “We’ve killed a lot more white characters than African-American characters. And not only that, I think it’s important to point out that we did cast two African-American actors in roles that were not African-American. In the comic books, Bob was white. And the character of Noah was not an African-American. We just cast the best actor.”
Hurd wouldn’t comment on any new actors coming on board, but pointed out that, “Noah is still alive and so is Seth Gilliam, playing Father Gabriel. And obviously both Sasha and Michonne. And let’s not forget the character of Glenn has been on the show since the very beginning.”

In short, shut the fuck up.

will we ever see an indian person in the show?
How about a handicapped person. Like this actor:

And, as previously stated by myself and others, Shane had the proper mentality. He was willing to kill Rick because he saw him as a threat to the safety of the group. Rick now realizes that is the only way to actually survive. Let's look at what Shane did, in regards to getting the stuff to save Carl after he was shot. Either that fat guy died and Carl lived, or both Shane and the fat guy died alone with Carl later on. Rick would absolutely make the same choice now that Shane made, and he is making it in regards to Alexandria.

The entire town of Alexandria piss me off. They are a bunch of cowards and I actually hope Rick does a hostile take over.

The scene where he put his hand on the gun to kill Mrs.HairCutter's husband seemed more for show than something Rick would actually do. I kind of see it as a last ditch effort to keep the viewers interested. Wouldn't make sense for Rick to go down Shane's exact path. Rick has quit letting everyone in w/o trying them and isn't a herder anymore, but they're still quite different in their ways. If he goes nuts now it wouldn't make much sense. And it's him and his group first before you but that doesn't keep him from lending a hand. Nor is he playing quick draw with everyone he runs into.

Indians and handicapped had no natural defenses against the virus, because Genes.

Didn't anyone else find Noah's death a bit....fake? His face looked really odd and tore like rubber. Zombies don't grab, they just bite....

Maybe because it was rubber? And they were grabbing trying to pull themselves in for a bite, it was a feeding frenzy...

Everyone is made out of paper in this show.

It was a mannequin. They brought the model to Talking Dead. It was his torso and head, IIRC.

I may or may not have had a drink with Andrew Lincoln where he let slip that it's actually the girl who's abusing the husband. He wouldn't say if he found out before or after he straight up murdered the guy (or if the guy got straight up murdered).
:whiste:
:hmm:

I've been wondering exactly that...an m night shamalot kinda twist:awe:

The whole "avoid killing walkers unless you have to" thing really irks me though. My first inclination when I saw all the walkers lined up on the chain fence in the warehouse was "Start stabbing heads! Easy kills! Do it now or you'll regret it later!" It's the one element that bothers me about this show.

I was thinking the same thing. Why keep them "alive" if you can take care of them without any real danger. Also the walker that was armored up, his bullet proof face shield was down so its not exactly like it could bite anything. Find a bat and bash its head in from the back.

There's a lot of stuff you just have to gloss over in this show. Personally I'd be wearing a dress made out of Morgan's spike-traps from the munitions town a couple seasons ago 😀

Or, why don't they just cover themselves in zombie blood & guts wherever they go? Or do what Michonne did & keep a couple jawless, armless walkers on chains? Doing gross things is definitely preferred over dying. But, you know, plot 😉

Yep. The show makes it look like stabbing zombies through the frontal part of skull is like a hot knife going into butter. Its the hardest part of the skull and naturally evolved to deflect incoming objects to either side. Also, pulling the knife out is not problem when in reality, the object may become wedged.

Didn't they explain this, as the zombies are getting older they are getting (or got) more squishy? I mean, they have been pretty inconsistent with their "zombie science" but I thought they at least addressed this.

I don't think they've ever directly come out and explained anything, at least not through the show itself, maybe in some interviews I've never seen or perhaps even in the comics which I dont read... but they might have slipped in clues to try and get viewers to jump to that conclusion on their own, such as having certain survivor groups calling the zombies "rotters" instead of "walkers", etc, although a rotting skull should still provide more protection than a butter has against a hot knife.

at any rate that would be an even lazier writing tactic to make up for their original lazy writing/direction/production

there is far less to fear from "squishy" zombies and whenever characters encounter them (like in the warehouse in this most recent ep) they should just be easily taken out like they're always depicted outside of when its more convenient to suddenly have them be this super difficult threat that creates drama that otherwise doesn't make sense.

that being said its not a flaw that breaks the show, but it could be a lot more interesting if they hammered down some of these complexities instead of just reshaping them to whatever might be more convenient week to week
