I know people were complaining about her lack of character development earlier but I really think I'll miss her on the show.

What makes you think she's off the show? She's now on her own, not dead. She'll stay alive and find a new group and someday down the road will either ally with or become an enemy against the prison group.

I don't think her story is over, but I sure hope it isn't as lame as what you've suggested. I actually think her character represents what a strong woman in that society should be. Michonne is far from a good female character. Carol had evolved through all kinds of circumstances to become independent and caring about the group as a whole. She also took on the leadership role when Rick vacated it and Daryl didn't want it. She isn't the nagging voice of reason; she is the voice of survival of her family. She doesn't try and combat the "men are so reckless and don't think before they act, but save us anyway" garbage we see so much.

I hope they do something with her besides her finding another group and such, not that I think she would even accept another group. She is being exiled from her family for trying to protect them by any means necessary. I think she might end up being a lone survivalist for awhile, and maybe eventually be accepted back into the group. I know Daryl and the girls aren't going to just abandon her.

She should have just lied and said they had died and then turned.

Would have made things easier for everyone, and injected some secrets and drama to contend with the entire season.

True, just seemed that way but I guess it's too early to tell.

I liked how they revealed Lori was too stupid to fix decent pancakes. After 12+ years of marriage, she still couldn't fix a simple breakfast. So not only was she an awful wife and mother, she couldn't even cook.

I personally think Carol was never an average person in the show....
Think *DUH*

Why do I have a feeling that Glen is going to survive somehow..

Information concerning such could easily be obtained if you really want to know the best guess.

Jon Bernthal (Shane) was cast in another show before his character died. I'll let anyone that wants to search, do it themselves.

Thank god. Shane was the freaking worst.

Why would it have to be lame? She could pick up stragglers one by one and forge a new group with her own dynamic. See how her leadership skills compare to Rick's. Maybe someday the prison group could go running to her for help.

Hell, maybe she could wind up with The Governor. We have not seen the last of him yet.

Since they didn't kill Carol off, I agree that there's a good chance she'll be back.

I think she may end up finding the guy (group?) that was transmitting that radio signal that the vet school crew heard. She hasn't heard the signal yet, but she's cruising by herself, I'm sure she'll turn on the radio.

Completely forgot about that radio message. They ran into the horde right after, so it easy to pass over.

what if she meets Darryl and crew on their way back to the prison? lol that would make for some good drama.

Heh, yeah, I thought about this as well. Awkward!

I had forgotten about the radio voice, that sounds very plausible. Good call by whomever brought that up.

I wonder how they're going to use the radio broadcasts in the storyline. Could be a good thing.

I still think the best part about this show is watching them survive day to day in the zombie world, scrambling and trying not to get eaten. The people drama / soap opera stuff is boring.

Yeah, these types of scenarios are only exciting to watch when they are on the road.

Sitting around in a safe place and talking is boring. I like seeing supply runs, exploration, scavenging, etc. Shootouts and action aren't even necessary, just some suspense and anticipation. The best edge of your seat excitement is when its quiet and only 1-2 walkers that come out of nowhere, not huge herds.

Here is my prediction,

There was talk about a spinoff series for the Walking Dead. Carol rounds up a group of new people and they wander somewhere and find more survivors and she becomes one of the main characters of the spin off.

:whiste:

So how are they getting all this gas?

Its been what, two years, and any existing gas sitting around in random tanks is long useless varnish, and no supply line or infrastructure for new stock.

They have gas cans filled with them, which I assume is from siphoning off from cars they find. The gas doesn't go back for the same reason Daryl can poor distilled water into a car battery and it just works; they ignore a ton of realism to give silly plot devices life.

I'm pretty sure Carol is going to end up with the Governor's new group or she's going to find the source of the radio broadcasts.

This season is so predictable.

Eh true I guess.

What makes gas have indefinite shelf life? Probably the same thing that makes people not die after they die.

But still. Its nice to see them have to tackle realistic issues normally taken for granted like gasoline expiring, similar to how they are learning about basic hygiene and long defeated basic diseases coming back from the dead.

Its a given that we must accept zombies since its the point of the show. Doesn't mean everything else can't be real.

you aren't allowed to question these kinds of things because this is a zombie show, and when things don't make any sense, the reason is "because it is a zombie show".
