The US planned a war against UK in the 1930s

>>The plans, revealed in a Channel 5 documentary, were one of a number of military contingency plans drawn up against a number of potential enemies, including the Caribbean islands and China, the Daily Mail reports.

Yawn.

Most governments have war plans drawn up for a number of highly unlikely as well as probable events.

The Canadians always like to post the one about us attacking them. Look, it ain't gonna happen. Relax.

We aren't going to attack Canada. We promise. Ok we might attack Quebec but the rest of you can just join the Union. Just kidding.

Countries develop plans for just about any situation, I'm sure that Canada has a plan about how to defend against a US invasion and vice versa.

If they were to dig deep enough I am sure there are plans for a war with Britain right now.

And I am sure most every nation out there. Doesnt mean anything will come of it. But if a war were to break out the plans would allow us to get cliff notes on what to attack and where.

As someone that lives in the Caribbean I find this laughable. What are we going to do, keep our natural gas away from the U.S? :colbert:

I really don't see why we HAVEN'T attacked Canada, i mean there isn't really a reason it is a separate country, and Mexico too for that matter.

There's a functional area called "strategic planning" that sits in the pentagon and comes up with contingency plans for every remote possibility. I have absolutely no doubt they have a plan to handle a zombie apocalypse.
