I wonder if we have any serious plans for defending against different types of alien invasions. (Note: I am not a UFO nut)

In some room in the pentagon is every sci-fi movie that covers this scenario so they can reference, determine the aliens the are fighting, then respond accordingly

One would have to stretch the word "win" quite a bit to apply it to the War of 1812. "Didn't lose" is about the best one can say.

It's a gawd-damned shame this never happened. We MIGHT have been able to fix the way the Brits spell and pronounce A-L-U-M-I-N-U-M...as well as many other things that they totally fuck up...like the cookie/biscuit issue.
