That was awesome that usher lady was like I'm a DK fan and can't wait for their game that is getting ready to start hahah, totally didn't see that coming hahaha

It was nice to finally see a Slardar pick/play - everyone was just melting... He is one of my 5 most used heroes in pubs.. 😛

The real Grand Final game is Navi vs Alliance! 😛:awe::twisted:

Edit: Wow a Sky Wrath Mage?!!

Yup, direct counter to Weaver/Puck/escapers.

That 700 range INSTANT cast silence utterly screws heroes that depends on spells badly.

As a matter of fact, I don't think there's another silence in the game that's similar (minus Silencer's ult).

BS/Drow/Krob's silences either lack the range or has that horrid 0.53sec+ casting time = just what Weaver/Puck need to escape.

Yeah... he owned Puck... but Alliance did a good job ending the game quick before Navi can respond...

I'm a bit disappointed. Really happy that [A] is now through to the final, but the Dota wasn't that great. I think maybe Alliance would have won anyway, but Na'Vi really threw it at the Rosh pit.

Navi got Tier 1 and Tier 2 towers in less than 14 minutes = Alliance didnt want to engage till Alchy got BKB... and Navi had a Natures Prophet and still LOST?!

Alliance (No Tide Hunter) was smart not to fight till Tide Hunter's ravage was negated with BKB.

I just realized I'm finally rooting for a team.

I want Navi to win. No team gives us that certain joy of Navi's creative play. Dendi is the sole Pudge picker of the entire Dota pro scene. And they deserve the damn medal just for pulling that win out of their ass with Chen + Pudge hook.

Going to be a good last day. navi vs Orange is going to be a fun game to watch as it was the first series. The final should be fun to watch too.

I hate ot say it but i find the Asian vs Asian games a bit boring to watch. They have action but it seems to come slow and randomly. They get an advantage and then just back off a bit to farm more. Vs the other teams would push forward and take a bit of risk. Just different play styles but the Asian just doesnt appeal to me as much

Can anyone give me a reference as to what kind of points they got for their fantasy team?

I didn't realise you were supposed to set it day by day, so I just entered some interesting players when I got the compendium and forgot about it. So I have 647 fantasy points. Is that horrible? Am I going to get a crappy Common which I've already got 3 of?

From my observations for the International 3:

Chinese DOTA = Farm race... they test to see if they can win early and if they can't in 15min to 20min they will just farm. Farm, Defend, Farm, Defend, Farm till they have a fat carry which usually takes about 40+ minutes... most of the time they have a 4 protect 1... they may have 2 carries so if you shut down one they still have the other carry so the carry that got shut down acts as a diverson while the main one becomes fat.

USA DOTA = gank, gank, gank and go straight for the fountain (mostly focusing on one tower lane) and try to end quick. Take risks that either will win or fail.

Navi DOTA = Mostly mid game and will mind F$%K or troll the opponent if they fall behind.

Alliance DOTA = goes for early or mid game end depending on the opponents draft. For example when Navi picked Tide Hunter, they waited till someone on their team had a BKB (most of their team members were building BKBs) to negate Ravage to before participating in team fights.

Basically the team that makes the least mistakes and adapt to counter their opponents wins the tournament. I think it is so close for the top 8 teams that one mis-click/mistake can determine the winner.
