Man.

After seeing this performance it's hard to understand why DK even bothered abandoning 4 protect 1 this year. AFAIK it's been a long time since the BurNIng Anti-mage has made a showing, but it's obviously very much alive and kicking. That second-to-last teamfight basically spelled the end in pretty emphatic fashion. 1v5 throughout the entire Naga song, and they couldn't kill him...

Maybe we go back to banning the BurNIng Anti-mage.

And those AdmiralBulldog deaths...

I think in Game 1 DK just didn't have the lineup to play to their strengths, which is BurNIng gets a mobile carry, farms up, and split-pushes a lane by himself while the rest of DK puts pressure on the other team in a completely different lane. In Game 1 Alliance just had so much mobility that they couldn't really push easily against that, whereas in Game 2 it was much easier for DK get out-maneuver Alliance.

Good to see Alliance banning out AM in Game 3.

Carry build (bad but can work in bad pubs and you need to semi-carry): Wand, Bottle, Treads/Phase, Manta, Butterfly, etc. She sacks her precious dagger for a steady DPS role instead. This is generally bad though. It's a subpar lazy way to play if you don't want to bother with Dagger & Phase micro.

TA is a mid game snowballing ganker, play the first way.

I often see TA played the second way in pro games - so I'm dubious that it is flat out bad - It is situational imo...

I really didn't like the Spectre pick. I always feel like if you get shut down at the start, it is really hard to do much until very late.

I really want to see some Leshrac though. I love him on support. Or a Beast Master solo mid who ganks a ton. >_>

This match is crazy. I love the fountain hooks lol. Looked like Navi was down for the count and then boom they turn it around, incredible.

The turning point was when he fountain hooked Gyro - killing him with his Aegis...

Yup, that was the turning point. But it was genius using it as a stalling tactic to get their Alchemist farmed up. They needed time and this bought it for them for their chance. TengFu couldn't push the high ground and paid for it in a lose.

Chen hooking used to be for giggles. But Navi used it as a legit strat that single-handedly WON the trailing match. LOL.

I'm really glad Dendi plays Dota. If he didn't exist, NO ONE would ever pick Pudge in pro games and everyone would laugh at the Pudge picks.

TL already looks so god damn nervous right from the draft vs iG.

Best of 1. iG already 2-0'd TL during group stage.

COME ON TL, DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TL gave them Bat, I hope they have a plan :/
TL is the one team I am really wanting to see win mostly in this tournament lol

That Bat is so stupid OP.

It's guarantee grab on OD. OD dies and immediately buys back. What do you know? Bat's ultimate is up again.

So so strong. 50sec cooldown, ROFL.

I knew it at draft that TL lost because they gave that Bat up

There's a reason that bat is banned or picked every single game 🙁

TL should of had some Pudge and Chen 😀

EDIT:

Been looking at Templar Assassin cosmetic stuff in the store and man, she has crap (imo) there. I'm tempted to make something for her. Might after I finish this Sven sword that is inspired by Cloud's buster sword from FF7

If Pudge gets shut down early game and into mid, he is worthless. Navi was doing great running the early / mid game aggression. Pudge wouldn't really fit well into a 4 support 1 hard carry style. Thankfully, Navi isn't doing the Chinese rice 50 minutes then play Dota. >_>

And they are splitting the BO3 up... that is crap. I actually like the BO1s because you have to go all in or you're done. >_>

Never play Chinese DOTA against a team from China = they will out farm you... should end game or try to end game in 40 minutes or less... TL got the first two Aegis and they should've pushed into tier 3 or to pressure them... but they just sat back and farmed... :colbert:

Orange vs Fnatic LB3A was one of my favorite games so far. The back and forth was entertaining. Seemed like at one point one team would be winning then the next minute you are in the other base. I dont know how it was tactically or anything since im still new to Dota but for watching it was one of the more entertaining games to me!
