Hmm...will it be possible to reach the processor to get a reading if you've got a large heatsink on it(like the XP-120)?
Also, is it just the cpu temp that's off or does the NB temp read wrong too?
Hmmm, wonder when Newegg will get this board....

other temps seem normal......around 32C for chipset...i think...well there are two extra measurements...System and PWM or whatever it's called...one is normally around 28C(System) and other 32C (PWM-assume chipset one....)

BTW, one more question, is there any way to disable the red LEDs on the mobo? The right side of my computer case is in my direct line of sight when I go to sleep and I'm planning to use a case with vents on that side. I suppose if wrost comes to worst I can just put some black electrical tape over the LEDs.
Thanks for all the info dinos22, you've helped convince me that this is the right board for me.

The whole LED thing is almost a deal breaker for me for the same reason aerelorn mentioned.

Very nice dinos22. What kind of cooling is that? Just wondering how far I could get this with a 3200 and stock vs Zalman cooling. I'm thinking that would likely go atleast as high as the 3500 will, from what I've been reading.

With this board already out overseas and expected any day now (....) in the US, I figured it'd be appropriate to change the topic title.![]()
