The people most harmed by vaccine denialism are often those with the least agency. Children don't get to choose their parents.
I had my six month Medicare wellness visit with my primary care physician yesterday. This MD is also our family pediatrician. Both of my grandkids see her and are vaccinated all the way up to the proper levels for their ages.

I asked for and received the 65+ pneumonia shot. (arm is still sore AF) I asked for the RSV & measles vaccinations and was told those are only paid for by my insurance if I get them at a pharmacy. 😡

I had the opposite several years ago with vaccination for influenza: vaccinations were covered under the health insurance benefit and not the drug coverage part, so I had to go to a doctor's office to get my free flu vaccine (which was stupid, because it cost the company more money).

Bill Cassidy complely flushing down his physician legacy of fighting Hepatitis B through mass vaccination in Louisiana by supporting the confirmation of RFK Jr.
My favorite dance is the one where Republican senators repeatedly try and convince us they are the stupidest people alive by pretending to be baffled that RFK Jr. or Brett Kavanaugh or whoever else somehow hoodwinked them during confirmation hearings. They only voted for them because they got assurances that they wouldn't do anything crazy! How were they supposed to know?! (other than like the 10 other times this has happened)

I for one can’t wait to bow before our Polio overlords. I have invested heavily in iron lung manufacturing. Long live Polio

Just had mine on Monday. Really not pushing the COVID vaccine at this point so, for the first time since it hit, taking a chance at this point. What's funny is the doctor said I was in much better shape than most of his patients my age.

I certainly hope RFK Jr. is putting his immune system where his mouth is and visiting measles parties until he gets it.

Unfortunately, he's old enough and had it like I did, so it not a worry for us. Waiting for someone to go into liver failure for taking mega vitamin A doses.

It never ceases to amaze me that in the real world we all live in, America is being told to follow health advice from someone who eats dead bears he finds on the side of the road.

I was listening to NPR today about the measles virus.

It is a lot worse than I thought.

It can erase previous “immunity” / memory how to combat previous things your body has learned to combat…

You are pretty much starting from scratch
