It's not ok..

It isn't ok and that is what I believe. I think it is sick and disgusting. I also think someone who finds themselves with those feelings is a sick and disgusting person and I don't want them to even exist. But, I don't want them punished unless they actually do something about those feelings. As human beings, we've developed a thought process and at least some of these people realize that the society they live in condemns this behavior and so will consciously abstain from acting on their impulses.

That would be like minority report x2 where they throw people in jail for even thinking about murder, not even the fact they are going to do something in the future.

Well, to be fair, I use to think that all homosexuals should be jailed until I had a few gay bosses, hung out with them more, traveled on business with them, etc. got to know their viewpoints and feelings. After becoming a friend, I was definitely better able to see life through their eyes and in their shoes. And now I am a lot more tolerant. I may not agree with all aspects of the lifestyle, but I can better see their point of view.

In other words, friends can and do offer a lot of insight.

The images aren't worth that much each. They make money on old images too.

But yes, that money does come from somewhere. I've heard of big sting operations where they got credit card information from tons of people at once who had been buying child porn. Don't know why anyone would be so stupid as to buy CP with their own personal credit card with their name on it, but some people are just dumb like that.
