ATi's AA is still gamma-corrected, whereas nV's AA isn't. Whether this makes a noticable difference, I dunno. Screenshots show that nV has closed the gap dramatically moving to RG, though, so I doubt ATi's AA is "far" superior (if that's what Noob said, exactly).

Yeah, SM3 as an "extra" feature is definitely a positive. The X800XL (and upcoming X800) make it look like you're paying a premium for SM3, tho. I'm curious how long it'll take nV to respond by lowering 6800 and 6800GT prices, or introducing 110nm versions.

I dont know. While Nvidia's has gotten MUCH better ATI is rumored to have an *undectable for the most part* edge. So if you look at the fence on image to the metal that make up the actual fence seems to be a TAD bit less aliased. Might just be regular margin of error. I personally think either it is a trick and they are both the same, or Image 2 is ATI and 1 is Nvidia.

There is really no image, im trying to force myself to see differences but there are virtually none.
