Honestly, no. I looked at the wiki and turns out he has a biological son in the comics too.

Says that on the show they never mentioned robin's back story tho, maybe that's why I remember him as just his sidekick.

Noticed your edit after my other response. Anyway, "Robin's Reckoning" was an awesome two-parter all about Robin's past and his opportunity for revenge. Must watch now. Kevin Conroy>Adam West

Oh wait, I thought you asked which TV father was most like my real dad.

Ok, here's the TV dad I'd pick....

Al Bundy.

Where the beer gives you gas,
but the Bundys kick ass,
at the nudie bar.

He was a loser, yet,.. he still had a job, wasn't a drug addict, never hit his wife, never cheated on his wife and had his own home - sounds like a man who did the best he could with his life.

He's an uncle, not a dad.

Uncle Scrooge would be horrible since he was such a tight wad. He never spends money.

I was thinking Rifleman too but damn he was always getting shot at and picked on. He would be die too young.

Surprised nobody has said Mr. C from Happy Days.

How about Rich dad from Different Strokes?
