This tells you everything you need to know about tariffs being a power trip for Trump. He has no clue how tariffs really work. He just loves shoving his elbows at everyone.
Not sure I agree, he knows the cost of tariffs get spread to the people so he can pay for tax cuts to the oligarchy.

I don't think the Pedo In Chief can actually spell the word tariff, much less maintain the minimally higher level cognitive function required to understand what it truly is.

The abandonment of the rule of law is how violence replaces politics.
They can gloat about not enforcing it, but the consequences will be more than they can bear.

Yup, they sure have faced a lot of consequences over the last 10 years!

Starting when Mitch McConnell paid a huge price for not letting Obama have a SCOTUS pick. Remember that? Or am I getting my alternate timelines all mixed up?

Trump didn't spend an hour whining impotently on TV because he's going to defy SCOTUS.
If Trump ignored the decision anyone asked to pay tariffs could say, "why" and not pay. Surely the courts wouldn't say they're guilty of a crime. Trump could, I suppose, but how would he force payment? He can't get congress to institute the tariffs. Wasn't this country founded on the premise that "taxation without representation" is irresponsible subjugation? I don't think that Trump's workarounds for ignoring the SCOTUS' decision are going to prove popular. Just how popular is Trump going to be come election times?

Such a hero, this guy:

Armed Man Is Fatally Shot at Mar-a-Lago, Secret Service Says

The man was killed early Sunday after an “unauthorized entry” into the secure perimeter at President Trump’s resort in Florida, the agency said. The president was not at the club at the time.

My local npr station just had a program on and it talked about a website that you can get IEEPA tariff refund

I will try to find it later and post it

But it was on 91.7 about 10:15

You are correct. Mitch said the president cannot have a pick during the last year

Then he lets Trump do it the next year

Why did you pretend the past informs the future as MAGA Nazis continue to wildly escalate criminality and lawlessness?
We are no longer talking politics or political action here. They are increasingly inviting alternatives.

For them to publicly defy and demonstrate that there is no SCOTUS would be just another check on a growing list that gets us there. At some point civil discourse breaks down and people use force to achieve their goals.

A likely impersonator taking a crack at Trump, lol. The giveaway is how coherent it is compared to how Trump is at the podium.

They cut him off. Freaking hilarious!

Possibly an imposter with an AI voice simulator? Pretty fucking good though!

Ah, Trump's alter ego John Barron rears his ugly head again! lol

If that was Trump? insanity! Am I on a bad acid trip with a President of the USA making crank calls to c-span?

As Trump blatantly disregards the Supreme Court and doubles down on illegal tariffs surely the Republicans who control Congress will step up to check this latest affront to our republic!

It's literally his worst polling issue and that's saying something. I'd like him to talk about nothing but tariffs and how this is the greatest economy in the history of the world and that voters should be thanking him all the way to November.

What's funny is all the way through the IEEPA case the government said the money would be very easy to refund so no need for an injunction that would keep them from collecting. Now the admin says you have to sue to get paid.
Of course they were full of shit. But now all those judicial records are going to come back and haunt them as they try to use other tariff authorities and get sued. They've given themselves enough rope to hang themselves.

Maybe at the No King's protest coming up I'll make a sign which on one side says 'Where's my tariff refund check you Nazi pigs?'
Reminds me, on the way to get some blood drawn for labs at Kaiser this morning, I heard a song on the radio station I support called "Nazi Teeth" by the Dead Pioneers.

Nice, a friend of mine shared that song with me a couple weeks ago, good for it to be making the rounds.

The deceased may have yet served a purpose by having him living in Trump's head as a reminder that there will always be somebody he freaked out enough to come gunning after him. He advocates violence as a means to an end all the time. Surely he must know that violence begets violence...or does he? Does he really think his SS detail and his phalanx of lawyers will guarantee his safety? If he does, then that will be his epitaph.
