Nope, what we really have to acknowledge is that power do indeed corrupt, and if any entity in society is given too much power, at some point it will be abused.So you have to prepare for the most charming psychopaths to hold any place of power in society and how to deal with it, when it happens.

For a democracy to work you need well educated an well informed citizens, and a functional media which aren't controlled by those in power, either private or government.

They need a system where they are sure, their vote counts. A system with more than two parties.

Your government most not have economic ties to wealthy individuals or industries.

There must be a clear division of the three branches of government, legislation and jurisdiction.

The system must be difficult to change, but not impossible, as sometimes changes are needed, but wannabe dictators should not be able to topple the system.

Going from 45,000 to 50,000 in 13 months is not impossible.
I mean if the fat bastard wants to talk about the dow, during Biden's term the Dow went from 30,000 to 45,000. A 50% increase. Old sausage fingers went up just 10% in 14 months

If the analysis in the article is correct, a good deal of the lost biz will not be coming back. We destroyed a relationship going back many decades. And for what? My brain is too smooth to understand I guess.

Hurts my heart. My own connection goes back to my childhood. First girl I ever kissed was a French Canadian who's family stayed with us at our beach house every year. Her father paid me to dig up anything his metal detector found. Helped him cut loose a Hammerhead shark that took bait meant for bluefish.

I was the only American kid not lying when he said he had a girl in Canada. 😂

Hopefully my area will be okay economically due to all of the diversification. The crew launch this morning was beautiful. The airport is growing. We have DoD contractors. Port Canaveral. Good luck to other counties.
