I know an Aussie who was studying abstract algebra and calculus at age 8 but I'm not going to make broad generalizations about Australia based on a top student.

Yeah schools and education by country/ states is all over the place.

I used to think NYC was good for schools but people are happily willing to pay 30-40,000 a year in property taxes for better schools in Long Island and Westchester County here instead of shitty NYC public schools.

Trump, bringing South Korea, China, and Japan closer together economically lololol

South Korea, China, Japan agree to promote regional trade as Trump tariffs loom - https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-...regional-trade-trump-tariffs-loom-2025-03-30/

The first time they just had to wait for America to come to it's senses and get its head out of its ass.

Now they need to wait for MAGA to die.. and who knows when that's happening. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if America becomes a pariah around the world just like Russia.

Even worse they are going to coordinate their tariff retaliation. Trump was right, tariffs indeed can accomplish what many people previously called impossible things.

I dunno why but it sorta reminds me of overloading a plane so much, it results in a failed take off and crash!

We're beyond the point of arguing.. it's now about saving ourselves best we can!

Five of the top six rice producing states are in Trumplandia. The rice growing region of the sixth is also Trumplandia. There’s gonna be some puddleglums in the paddies this week.

One of the insane things that seems to be left off the story table: the president doesn't really have the authority to implement tariffs unilaterally. He's declaring fake emergencies to use emergency/war powers exemptions that Congress built into the law. It's really fake bullshit (there is no real emergency), and he should be called out on it more, in addition to the unilateral tax he wants to impose on Americans as he also ruins the soft landing post-covid economy.

Chuck Schumer helped pass the CR that besides CUTTING non-defense spending, also made it virtually impossible for Congress to do a damn thing about tariffs.

And the Dems are standing by Chucky, over two weeks later 🤣😅😂😂

The Democratic party of today, in the running for the most pathetic opposition party since 1930's Germany.

So we might get a small check in exchange for a 25% or more price hike on everything? Is that how they are going to sell it to the rubes?

My next car costs $4500 more but I got this sweet $29 refund lol.

Have you met this Trump guy? Thinking isn't exactly his strength.
Now come on...FelonKing Donnie is a stable genius who even passed the cognitive test.

Mr. Trump explained the memory part of the test, and said his results impressed doctors.

"It's like, you'll go, 'Person, woman, man, camera, TV'," he said. "So, they'd say, 'Could you repeat that?' So, I said, yeah — person, woman, man, camera, TV."

According to Mr. Trump, he had to recall the phrase again later during the test and was given "extra points" because he said it in order.

"They say, 'Nobody gets it in order,'" he said, referring to the doctors. "It's actually not that easy, but for me it was easy. And that's not an easy question."

"They say, 'That's amazing,'" he added. "'How did you do that?' I do it because I have, like, a good memory. Because I'm cognitively there."

One thing I keep hearing Trump supporters parrot (even as they get laid off) is that we are going to have short term pain for long term gain without any ability to explain what the middle step is that makes such a thing possible a la the South Park underpants gnomes. It is purely based on their faith in him that he's gonna make them rich...somehow.
