Tulsi Gabbard said at a congressional hearing there wasn’t any classified info shared but she couldn’t state whether or not she was in the group. /eye roll

One other person stated that the signal app was approved for use and was loaded on his desktop and phone him. He admitted he was in the group message and he said no classified data was shared.

Is there a new definition of what classified information means now?
ftr, that other person was the CIA director.

Tulsi did give a pretty good answer with regards to cyber threats and trumps dismantling of the department that’s tasked with overseeing such attacks: having more people doesn’t always mean better results.

Lol how about having any people?
Maybe ask her is ending cyber activities when it comes to Russia give better results?

"No classified info in the chat"

Should be fine if Goldberg released the entirety of it then, right? Right?

The app probably was approved. The problem is the people the Trump admin selected to do the approving don’t care about operational security or the lives of the service members involved. Never forget that Trump thinks that service members are losers.

Even if it was approved conducting official business over it still violates a whole bunch of other laws.

Always with the Schrodinger's lie - apparently according to these clowns nothing classified was in the conversation but claim it still might be a crime to release it. (the conversation that Hegseth said never happened, of course)

If it IS approved, it's only after the fact and for a select few that have been caught using it. It's still not officially approved for use.

Or "nothing was classified, but I can't tell you if I was using a government issued device when I was overseas on this chat or my personal device because that is under review." The excuses are so phoney and stupid.

Man, it sure seems like our IC leads have a really shitty collective memory. They can't seem to remember a damn thing.

Seems like cause for some serious medical evaluations as to what environmental factors might be causing this. This is a discussion involving multiple people about significant events that only happened a short time ago. Since we know these people aren't huge liars the only explanation that makes sense is some sort of collective external factor.

If this had happened under the Biden administration there would be a full investigation and people would be fired for slipping up. Biden would hold his cabinet accountable and apologize to the American people. Instead we have deny deny deny. It never happened. It wasn't classified. The journalist is a liar blah blah blah.

The journalist appears to be at least strongly considering releasing the transcript. I'm sure if/when he does they will just come up with a new lie about how it's a fabrication or whatever.

The lying and bad faith is endless.

That is fake news and also the journalist is under arrest for treason.

They'll probably go after him for releasing classified information, because they want to have it both ways.

It definitely seems like that's the goal here - to say it's unclassified publicly to deflect criticism but to also leave plenty of veiled threats of prosecution if he does release it. Mobster way to run a government.

They really think we were all Trump voters, and accept anything that comes from the MAGA administration.
