What a fucking clown! What do democrats even have to do with this?

Start calling it for what it is:

We have President Dumbass Turd trying to run the country with an administration of Dumbass Turds with a bunch of Dumbass Turds in Congress trying to make laws and fill the courts with more Dumbass Turds!

Even if it was approved conducting official business over it still violates a whole bunch of other laws.
Classified info had retention requirements. I doubt they're cc'ing a retention account (though I guess the Internet never forgets, so maybe the reporter addition was intentional?)

As others have mentioned if you’re trying to keep information hidden from other countries and the public you use the widely available encrypted communications the government has. You use signal when you’re trying to keep information hidden from the US government.

Yup.

Shame there's nothing to be done about this, just like every other thing.

Here's another for the 'these aren't very bright guys' annals. Witkoff, while attempting to defend himself from accusations that he was part of this conversation while in Moscow says that's impossible.

Why was it impossible? Because Witkoff says Signal is on his personal phone, not his secure government phone, and he didn't have his personal phone with him there. That's right - he's engaged in discussions about impending military operations ON HIS PERSONAL PHONE.

The implication all along has been that there are more chats, possibly many more, that have sensitive and classified discussions on them. And that Signal is used to avoid having any discoverable records in contravention of US law.

Maybe it wasn't *his* personal phone. Perhaps a friendly Russian let him sign into Signal on another device, lol.

It's darkly funny that he doesn't seem to realize his 'defense' actually makes things far, FAR worse.

'Don't worry, I didn't chat about war plans until I got home. First, I needed my personal, unsecure phone for that and second I had to wait until my kid finished that level of Candy Crush'. Is not the stellar defense he seems to think it is.

I only break US law when I am safe at home. Next question please.

As this country is now an Empire, there are no laws. Just ask the Emperor. Or his sycophants.

They directly lie straight to Congress about this incident. All that matters to them is the Emperor's will.
