Oh they'll notice. And they'll notice the money missing. The only thing I can do is ask around my friends and hope for more old ram they can find in the closet or a extra GPU they have lying around.
 
So, let me get this straight... It is YOUR money and you cannot spend it? Go against your parents, it will go a long way. You do not want to be their lap dog.
 
It took me a lot of convincing to get my parents to let me use my $ on a gaming system, and I'm 20 years old..
