Damn it's obvious to know that something like this is poison but this video shows just how bad it is:

This "kid" (17 FFS!) will most likely suffer permanent issues because of this. He tried to eat THREE! Would be interesting if they went into the details of the aftermath though but the way they say he did "a" recovery seems to point towards some permanent issues.
 
Basically it causes necrosis of the esophagus and other internal tissues, including lungs. The detergent reacts with water and fat, and basically destroys cells because they are made of water and fat. It's safe on your external skin because it has protection but internal tissue does not.

TLDR: pretty much death if not treated fast.
