Yet you quoted the article where the author was complaining/criticizing. A note, Casey Chan (the author of link) is from Australia.
Brilliant!... So not Britain then?

How damn proud can you be? Only americans would defend the outdated imperial system
Get off your high horse, America does many things wrong and this is one of them
No, I found it interesting and wondered why this was the case.
That's why I put
No complaints.

I call B.S.
MotionMan
Nope. There was a risk that he wouldn't be from Britain. However, the odds were in my favor that he was.

Does that include winning World War II for Britain (and the rest of Europe)?
MotionMan
Like how you guys captured the Enigma machine
It would have been useless to Britain without the U.S. troops.
The U.S. troops still could have won the war without Britain's help.
Nice try. Pick a new game.

First off, it was the Poles that cracked Enigma. Now that that's out of the way, Germany's defeat was almost completely due to Hitler being a retard. If he hadn't attacked the USSR, the outcome may have very well been different.
I'll take "Formerly important countries, for 1000 Alex"

We win, going away.

Actually, the metric system is being used a LOT in the construction industry.
Iron workers are now using a 300 mm adjustable wrench as a hammer instead of the old-fashioned 12" crescent wrench.
I didn't say cracked, I said captured.
Arguably, if the US had played a bigger role in European affairs in the 20s and 30s there never would have been a World War 2.Does that include winning World War II for Britain (and the rest of Europe)?

The three countries that don't give a shit.

They didn't crack the more complex German naval Enigmas IIRC. The information the Poles shared was valuable, but the Enigmas the Brits were able to capture during the war were much more helpful I believe. Been a while since I've read up on this, though.First off, it was the Poles that cracked Enigma. Now that that's out of the way, Germany's defeat was almost completely due to Hitler being a retard. You didn't capture anything. It was given to you by the Poles.
Cipher material was captured at sea. The first capture of Enigma material occurred in February 1940, when rotors VI and VII, the wiring of which was at that time unknown, were captured from the crew of U-33. On 7 May 1941, the Royal Navy captured a German weather ship, together with cipher equipment and codes. They did it again shortly afterwards. And two days later U-boat U-110 was captured - Wikipedia
we're bilingual in our measurements. its only going to make it easier for us to adapt to the new system the aliens will force on us when the invasion happens.

JESUS CHRIST DUDE! They are watching, don't alert them to the fact that we know they are there. Honestly!... D:
