It doesn't just sound silly, i'ts fucking retarded. You binge watched a scripted reality TV show and now have this great insight into a person.

Please, psychoanalyze Kim Kardashian for your encore

I binge-watch the 2 Godfather movies every year, and I am therefore an expert in the Italian Mafia.

I showed this to my colleague who is a back hispanic (Brazillian) and he asked how did he make it to this level on his white privilege.
Luck, good timing and genetics like the rest of us.

I have a bachelor's, masters and doctorate all in entirely different fields. Honestly it was all pretty lucky and mostly related to powers not in my control.

A person's success is determined by hard work about as much as a redwood tree's success is determined by its hard work.

Let's be real. As an immigrant professional he's already among the more motivated and likely best and brightest. And he has to work next to someone of your caliber who has real trouble figuring this simple shit out. I figure this is not lost on him esp as a dark person from brazil, so he's developed a coping mechanism for it which you've certainly had the pleasure of experiencing.
Wow, so because his family immigrated here when he was 3 years old made him a best and brightest, highly motivated professional. He like I learned a skill in the military (no college degree), then found a company that needed someone with those skills, and over years of experience working on the equipment was employed as a technical adviser.

Yep, sheer luck I joined the military and learn a skill that related to a civilian job. After 12 years I got out and found a position with a original equipment manufacturer where I could use those skills. A little over a year ago my position was eliminated after another company bought the one I worked for. Early this year a headhunter on Linkedin contacted me and it resulted in the job I have now which is the same as what I did at my former employer.

I have seen people who can't cope with being away from for weeks at a time and working 72 to 84 hour weeks for extended periods of time. So yes, my success had been determined by my willingness to work in these conditions.

This is a bit of a trap argument and dangerous thinking. There are many ways to define both success and hard work. There is also the variability of risk and long term payoff of said risk and hard work. Success is relative as is the effort required to get there.

To answer the thread title, Trump's lack of class

Well, that's good for starters. And I won't belabor you to finish off that list either, 'cuz you'll need to write a book about his failings as a human being and posting all of it right here in this thread is just not proper decorum. :D

things that make drumpf different:

not submitting his tax returns
admitting he gropes women without their consent due to his celebrity status
gets into petty fights via social media
has thinner skin than a bat's wing
involved in more litigation than any previous president, and by a very wide margin
has had 3 wives
contradicts himself within minutes of making a statement
questioned the legitimacy of the election he won (millions of votes, derp)
Invited the manager of his blind trust onto a phone call with the president of Argentina.
Tried to coerce Britain into appointing a right-wing extremist as its ambassador to the United States.
Admitted that his charity was guilty of self-dealing.

These are just a few of the things that make drumpf different.
there are many, many more.

A short list, a very, very short list of his drumpfyness.

Hmm.... really? Lets see. You weren't born in libya or somalia but presumably here or in another wealthy country or during war time, you weren't born with any kind of major disability due to your parents taking decent care of you when you were a fetus and minimizing the risk of congenital infections or fetal alcohol syndrome etc, you didn't grow up in a home where your dad beats your mom every day or bullets fly just outside your window when you're trying to sleep or read or your parents are substance abusers or in and out of the prison system, your parents emphasized values like education and military service as opposed to other values such as children working to help pay the rent thus leading to your desire ultimately to join the military and learn all sorts of skills, you had adequate nutrition when you grew up meaning your brain and immune system developed relatively normally and you didn't grow up obese and thus develop all sorts of medical problems that would keep you out of the military entirely, went to schools funded by public dollars that I assume were half way decent as opposed to maybe not having any school at all or being dependent on home schooling, and were lucky enough not to be arrested for any of the minor crimes we all commit all the time or even simply lucky enough to have avoided being in the wrong place at the wrong time, when you were in the military you were lucky enough to not get sent to war, and if you did happen to be sent didn't see combat, and if you did see combat you may have been purely lucky enough to avoid a TBI, PTSD, alcoholism, and other consequences of military service thus allowing you to actually integrate back into society. That's not even focusing on things like your name, your race, your sex, whether you were born early, late or on time, whether you had a twin in the womb with you or not, what part of the country you grew up in, your parents employment, your parent's medical history, and etc

The reality is individual hard work is relatively meaningless when it comes to success compared to the role of genetics and environment. Yes you were able to get into the military and do ok but you also didn't develop severe bipolar disorder or schizophrenia at 18 like a lot of people do for reasons entirely out of their control which derails their ability to succeed in life. If a seed lands in a forest, that seed grows to be a tree assuming a bird doesn't swoop down and eat it up. That seed bragging that it survived is foolish because it is relatively powerless against the bird when it is most vulnerable. There are countless birds one has to pray don't eat them before hard work even starts to possibly matter.

If you look at the NBA, something like 50% of players have a first degree relative who played at least in college or higher. People look at steph curry for example and marvel at his success but the reality is he was in AAU basketball at like 8 years old and his dad was a NBA star! These are extreme examples, but the concept rings true. In my field an astounding number of fellow doctorates have mothers and fathers who are doctorates. In my family, my father has a doctorate, my brother has a doctorate (actually he has two of them), my mother has a master's and my other brother is thinking about acquiring a doctorate himself, and I'm also married to someone who has a doctorate. It won't be much of a surprise if my child acquires a doctorate will it. And so on and so on. I give myself a little credit for where I am in life but I'm not stupid as to what are the most important factors as to where i am today. Even so called geniuses and savants often if you introspect their lives and development you'll see either some strong genetic or social reason for their success or some highly fortunate period of time for them to be trying their crazy ass ideas which in any other time period would have failed miserably.

I'm only quoting Frankie here, to make some observations.

First, I'm sure he's deeply wounded in being "outed" for his literary acumen and skill. It "got" to him.

Second, continuing that thought, someone I remember from my earlier life before I retired made a cogent point. "If you can't write, you can't think." There are probably many corollaries to that.

Third, he wanted to call us out and demonize us for our lack of "patriotism." Oh, I'm sure Frankie thinks he's a patriot, all right. No doubt.

Fourth, he thinks we should all "go along, get along, get with the program." That's an interpretation -- not a direct quote.

Fifth, Frankie's big Hero, and the Hero's "movement," lost the election but won the White House.

Sixth, nobody who saw Trump for what he was on "Apprentice" or during the "Birther rage" is going along for this ride.

Finally, Frankie is coming unraveled. Unglued. Disconcerted. Unhinged.

This suggests how we'll bring down the Trump-Meister. Enough vocal citizens getting under his skin, Ol' Trumpie-boy is going to deny at first that they exist. As their voices pile up and grow, Trumpie-boy is going to lose it. He'll react just the way Warren and Clinton showed him to, when they called him out.

It's just a matter of time and effort.
