The email story as told by Republicans is 100% true. And it was the worst crime in history since Hitler gassed the jews.

These points were repeated and repeated and repeated until half your country was brainwashed. By Fox and Breitbart and others. And by Trump.

And the truth is: none of these accusations were true.

But the right wing media, Trump and the rest of the Republics kept repeating them as if they were true and had been proven in court. The opposite was true. They are all false. A bunch of those accusations have actually been examined by official prosecutors and commitees. And every time the conclusion was that Clinton had done nothing wrong (roughly speaking. Yeah, yeah, I know).

But Trump (and the rest) kept spewing their lies.
Imnsho this was all pure libel.
Normally people go to jail for libel.
I have no idea why the Clinton camp didn't fight back. They didn't. They kept repeating that Trump is a racist and has no political expertise or experience. That didn't work. Meanwhile half the country had been brainwashed by lies.

It's a mystery to me how the Republicans could lose so easily. They didn't even put up a real fight.

This argument would have merit if it weren't that Trump lies himself. Often. Blatantly. (As in, a quick Google search could completely demolish his claims.) He will even lie about having lied, even when you have video footage of him lying.

Yes, he'll reflexively call people out on things, but that doesn't mean that he's right. Remember how he would childishly yell "wrong!" during the debates? Yeah... more often than not, Clinton was right, and Trump just didn't like letting unpleasant truths go unchallenged. You're confusing a short-fused personality with honesty and perceptiveness. Shooting from the hip doesn't mean you're always shooting the bad guys.

This is what makes Trump pretty impossible to read. Apparently he will say anything at any time without any regard to truth.
