Predator makes terminator his little bitch in 2 minutes, flat.
 
The question is whether the Terminator could see past the Preditor's cloaking ability. If not the preditor would be able to target the Terminator sufficently to disable it. Without the Preditor's advanced weaponry though, it would be unlikely to defeat a Terminator with modern human weapons, and certainly not with melee or hand to hand.
 
From now on, when anyone asks me what anandtech forums are about I'm just going to point them to this thread.
I haven't read through a 14 page thread that has been this entertaining in a LONG time.

yea but sarah had alot of help and the man who had all the experiences fighting TERMINATOR's lost to the TERMINATOR he died before TERMINATOR did,predators have no experiences with fighting machines like T-800 TERMINATOR's and i agree its very unlikely for any living organ to defeat a TERMINATOR in a hand to hand kombat!
 
ty for the correction of my "spelling" anyways continuing on,Just imagine if predator was hiding in the woods from TERMINATOR and TERMINATOR knocked every tree over and predator had no place else to hide?
 
Predator would have killed terminator an hour earlier with his shoulder-mounted death cannon while terminator was busy playing lumberjack.

err, the final battle was all sarah...
 
again sarah only won out of blind luck! yes she had help the t-800s body was blown in half with a pipe bomb by reese seconds before he died,if reese hadnt of blown him up then the t-800 would of grabbed sarah alot faster with his legs and arms and killed her! so as i said before it was blind luck that she killed the t-800 if sarahs such a Goddess than why did she shit her pants when she saw the t-800 in t2 in the mental hospital when him and john went to save her and then yelled to the gards "HE'LL KILL US ALL" cause she knows those T-800 TERMINATOR's are Gods...

yea whats that gonna do? prolly just melt the t-800's flesh and not leave one scratch on him when the t-800 can be throwing fuel cells and whipe out a thousand predators!

He was a T800, model 101 which looks like arnie. T800-102 would look like someone else.

Terminator would win if both unarmed.

If both armed ehh probably still terminator, but predator has a chance with his shoulder cannon and might get the last laugh with the self destruct thing on his arm.

that's because he wasn't a stupid terminator, but a clever human.

humans have been shown, time and time again, that they can kill terminators easily, and en masse, with rather simple strategy.

Predators...not so much. They are seasoned hunters, with far more capable armament than what it takes humans to kill terminators.

simply: terminators are idiots, limited by their, I don't know--hubris. Their assumption of invulnerability and lack of fear/pain makes them easy targets in comparison.

ok you saying that terminators are idiots just shows your prejudice cause you must be a huge fan of predator like i am the terminator i mean dont get me wrong i like predator,hes bad but i just dont think he could give Terminator the go,i know about 3 characters off head who could give terminator the go and predator isnt one of them,predator would give terminator a run for his money dont get me wrong but i just dont think predator would win against a machine like that,plus if its arnolds character we already know the writers know whos gonna win "Arnold/TERMINATOR T-800" who would beat predators ass and snap him like a number2 pencil.

true thats what i tried telling these people if predator couldnt defeat arnold as human,meaning skin and bones what makes these idiots think predator is gonna defeat arnold as skin and metal??? and a computer not to mention,humans cant even outsmart computers what makes anyone think predator stands a chance.

ok if you think predator would defeat terminator then believe what you want its your opinion,i'm gonna tell ya somethin and its the gods honest truth i use to get into this kinda stuff,character vs character when i was in high school and i did think of predator vs terminator and i asked alot of my movie friends who would win and only 2 out of 24 said predator the rest said terminator,one guy said he doesnt want a human,animal or any creature vs a machine because the machine is gonna win hands down!

that said TERMINATOR stomps!
