My father will be passing away any day now. He is bedridden, has a catheter in, and on morphine. The hospice people tell me in the next week. He really does look bad, hospital bed in the middle of a very small apartment living room.

One the plus side, he did have 87 1/2 very good years, and is not in any real pain.

Sorry to put a damper on the good spirits, I just wanted to share.

Such is life: the good and the not so good.
I am sorry to read about your father. I hope you and the family will have the possibility to spend time with him and to ease his time by just being there now and then. You, your father and your family are in my prayers.

my condolences, I lost my grandfather earlier this year, and we buried my wifes grandfather on Monday.

I'm sure losing a parent is much harder

I feel your loss. We lost our pastor on Friday, very suddenly from a stroke. He was 54. Not only was Pastor Bill a beloved pastor, I was also privileged to call him friend.

Our tragic loss is God's great gain.
