We are going to a party today. It is the 50th wedding anniversary of my Best Man's parents(6-25-60). My Best Man is getting married on 12-11-10, my wife and I were married on 12-1-90.

Any significance to the numbers?

Probbaly. But we need a DC-project to figure it out. It may be the aliens ... ;)

This is a just great day.
Although I have to work tomorrow.
But I don't care. Just now nothing can take away my contentment.
And don't come with the idea that a brick could fall on my head and kill me. It is still a fact that just now nothing can take away my happiness.
If this state of mind will last? I don't care. :D

Why don't you put some of the contentment into bottles and sell it? You could become the richest person in the world.

LoL, I wish I could give it away ...
Happiness shared doubles and tripples ...

No, I am not drunk. No need for that in my current state of mind.

I too am contented today, lots of things happening but am content.
Our second oldest daughter is getting married in 20 days plus change and they are doing this in our back yard. Cleanup and preparations are taking place all month, I'll be gone a week for some professional training, who knows how we will afford it all, but I'm at peace.
What gets done gets done, not something to freak out about.

I recently found a set of SU side draft carbs to add to my performance cylinder head and intake manifold and installed it all on the Nissan A15 motor in my MG Midget.
I had the usual troubles dealing with 30+ year old stuff - rubber bits that had shrunk with age, floats that didn't seal so gas went all over, butterfly valves that didn't close because of not being centered, and last but not least - timing that was way off.
Now it's running great, almost just what I want it to be. Just need to finish rebuilding my 5 speed transmission and install it again - so much nicer than the 4 speed.
Yes, things are well with me.

My father will be passing away any day now. He is bedridden, has a catheter in, and on morphine. The hospice people tell me in the next week. He really does look bad, hospital bed in the middle of a very small apartment living room.

One the plus side, he did have 87 1/2 very good years, and is not in any real pain.

Sorry to put a damper on the good spirits, I just wanted to share.
