Yeah, running up is easy, running down is much faster. That is how they train their falling reflex. That is why we have no drapes in the kitten room.

For outdoor kittens, the peak of cuteness occurs when they bring live prey (mouse or bird) into the house to give it to you.

I once had a mama cat who had her kittens on the roof under an eave created by an adjoining roof.

I was so smitten with one kitten that I was moved to write a Broadway musical. It was called: Piddler on the Roof.

LOL@RudyTudy. :D

We had a neighbors cat that liked us, and showed it by leaving frogs, mice, and other "gifts" on our porch. :Q

Leaving for Oslo tomorrow.
Most of the past winter's snow is gone - but not all.
The probably last snowfall was today ... :(

In honor of Peter's trip to Oslo, I present this politically-incorrect story:

Sven comes home from work-
"Olga, I have this terrible confession to make. Today at the Oslo Pickle Factory, I had an overpowering urge to stick my dong in the pickle-slicer."
"Oh, Sven! Fight that urge! You could be hurt. And all the fun would go out of our marriage."
"Okay, Olga, I promise I will fight that urge."

A few weeks later-
"Sven, you're home early. What's wrong?"
"Olga, do you remember that urge I told you about? Well, today I stuck my dong in the pickle-slicer and I got fired."
"Fired?... Are you hurt?"
"No, I'm not hurt."
"Well, if you aren't hurt, what happened to the pickle-slicer?"
"Oh, she got fired, too."

Yesterday, I had to visit the Federal Building and had forgotten that I would have to pass through a metal detector.

The word to the wise:

If you must pass through a metal detector, don't do it while you are wearing your chain-mail underwear!

I am in Nashville, TN for the next few days. One of our production plants was heavily damaged in the recent flooding. There was 30 inches of water in the server room. Everything was powered up at the time and all is lost. The biggest problem is with the production machinery. Entire extruders under water. Every machine affected in some way. It will be months until things approach normal.
