Is it NYD somewhere yet?

UTC +13 it is 0126, New Years Day. 🙂

In Auckland /New Zealand) it is just now 02:48, New Year's day.
In Brisbane, Queensland Australia it is just now 01:48, New Year's day.
In Sydney, New South Wales, Australia it is just now 0:48, New Year's day.
In Adelaide, Southe Australia it is just now 0:18, New Year,s day.

Man, what a miserable New Year's Eve. A gunman went on a shooting spree at the store where I go grocery shopping. 6 people dead, including the shooter. 🙁

Hopefully it's a little safer elsewhere..

So sad ... <Petrus shakes his head> ... I very much hope that you will be able to sleep well enough. My thoughts are with you and with the victims.

I am considering adding the following line to my project profiles:

Rudy Toody is an Americanization of the fine old traditional British name: Rudyard Toodyard

What do you think?

Rudyard is fine...but Toodyard? I tried a Google search and actually came up with a few instances of Toodyard, apparently as a last name! But almost all of them turned out to be OCR errors from Woodyard. :\ One other turned out to be a typo of Todd Yard.

But the first one listed? This thread! :awe:

In any case, how about Rudyard Toddy? 😛

If you search the list of surnames in the US, you will find one instance of Toody. That is because I had my home phone listed as Rudy Toody. So, Toodyard is also fictional. As is the personna, Rudy Toody. I'm living in another world!

I hope there's BBQ in that world...

gonna make cheese cracker halibut tonight...

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............

Hmmmm... I miss Cape Cod sometimes. Lots of good seafood within a 90 minute drive, ranging from small hole in the wall at the docks to pretty commercialized local chains.

I want fried oysters....

Oh yes, it was good!!

The Halibut was flaky and moist and so much flavor!!!
A couple Red Hook beers and several chunks of fish and I was well satiated.
My youngest daughter wants us to make the Coho "fish sticks" again... maybe next weekend.

I'm back to work tomorrow after about two weeks of vacation. 🙁

but it doesn't have an repetition of sounds... like Rudy Toody or Rudyard Toodyard...

well, Hot Toddy would work if you have spicy BBQ sauce.
