Well, I am moving this week. Gotta drain the computers, brace any aircooled towers for transportation, and pack.

And in a few weeks, I'll have my server fully operational and my old server relegated to HTPC with my new 42" LCD. 😀

I plan to BBQ any of the remainder of my steak once I move into my new place. :beer: too. I've got a 24 pack of Karl Strauss Amber Lager.
 
Sitting in a very ice hotel in France, exactly where the Pyrinean Mountains fall in to the Mediterranean Sea. Not too warm, not too cold.
I am sure all of you could ignore this 😉

I am envious of all you European people. I want to come to Europe some day. For now I will wallow in self-pity here in Pennsylvania. 🙁

So... I totally am going to be broke by next Monday. Stupid furniture. I should just buy plywood and cinder blocks.

Ugh, I hated San Diego. Didn't help I was not there by choice. But it seems the only nice person I met there was from out of state. I did have fun in the gas pipe district though. There is one place that has this huge top-shelf margaritas, and it's across from an Irish pub. It was after several of those margaritas (and a very long walk back to base after missing the last trolley-thing) that I asked Liz to marry me. hehe
 
Haha. Oh, the GAS LAMP DISTRICT. 😛 You only find gas lamp douches there. There's nice people, you just need to look for them. I live in San Diego. :laugh:
 
I too have been there and I am sure glad I move from that state. Used to live in LaHabra a long time ago.....

Now take Liz to Vegas to get married FMC ! 😛 It's only 300 miles from San Diego! You can get drunk there too! 🙂
 
One thing I don't like about the gas lamp is the annoying hostesses. They harass you when you're looking at the menu, all "this is really good, that is what makes us special, this is blah blah blah". I don't need to listen to you when I can read the menu for myself. And then they try to guilt-trip you into coming inside. And every meal is at least $45/person. Last two times cost $90 and $140 for two of us. But they were good meals at least. Down there, however, is a nice jazz club, Dizzy's, which has good performers now and then and a lot of interesting shows (jazz renditions of k-pop), and cover fees are usually $10-20.

I totally like the food in Hillcrest better. Can anyone say Kangaroo burgers and Bronx pizza? 🙂

I suppose I'd just like to travel more. There are some truly beautiful places in the US and here in the Poconos of PA as well. I think I'd most like to see Vienna, Bonn, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Stockholm, St Petersburg, I don't want to leave anything out. It will have to wait until I win the lottery though....
