Order a pizza. Have the guy slide it under the door. Of course you will have to wait until he leaves to open the door to get the toppings that have been scraped off.

I hope you are lucky and don't have TB. But, if you do, take ALL of the antibiotics. I have a friend that picked up TB while spending 3 years in a Mexican prison and he stopped taking the meds when he felt better. He relapsed and it took months to clear it up.

Thanks Rudy. I've been reading up on TB. Probably a 4-antibiotic spread over 6 months. Fun. Hope my insurance covers most of that.

As for BBQ, I just remembered something horrible I saw the other day. 2 pieces of "fillet mignon" in a hard clamshell package in the refrigerated section somewhere. They look fatty enough to be a beef equivalent of bacon. That is heresy to the name of good fillet mignon! And I still want my steak. I wonder if any good steak houses would deliver if I asked nice enough...

But thanks guys for the get well wishes. I wish I could go out to BBQ some nice steak up.

Another get well wish from me, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. May it be something insignificant, and you be eating that steak out soon!

Also a quick message to all: I am back home after some 13 days of quite gruelling work in an conflict zone (where Swedes made a mess and thus suffered a lot) and more than 32 hours of continuous travelling: first a 1 hour walk with some 20kg of stuff in my backpack, then 4 hours by bus, 45 minutes waiting, 7 hour-flight, 1 hour waiting, 6 hours flight, 2 hours waiting, 11 hours train (there were no flights available for the next 26 hours) then 20 minutes by taxi - home ...

At home at last and in good shape. 😀

I have to remember to log Liz off and logon as myself when I'm on the forums on her computer. I've posted twice so far under her account while on her computer. 😱

My machine is getting an overhaul. I'm done with Nvidia chipsets. Nothing but Intel from now on. Got a P45 motherboard to install now. Yeehah.

Actually, I guess it was bacon wrapped filet mignon in a hard clamshell package. What is this world coming to?

Still no excuse for the lack of stats FMC. Now I have to ignore disgusting excuses for steak.

Where's the BBQ? Err, stats?

I ate them. Sorry.

Did you at least put some Jack Daniels and/or BBQ Sauce on them?

Negative. The good stuff doesn't need flavoring. Just a little black pepper & garlic rub, cooked medium, with a side salad, and one of my wife's beers (can't remember what kind at this moment). 🙂

I'm coming to dinner with you from now on.

What's the address again?

😉

If someone else is coming to dinner to feast on stats, guess I'll have to do more stats then.

Sweet, reading the forums in a patrol car on a touch screen monitor. Things are quite useful for the forums... Anyway, back to doing updates...

I like to add a little chili pepper to my black pepper/garlic rubs for good cuts of stats, cooked medium-rare, with a side salad, potatoes, and a nice dark stout.

But I just got back from the hospital. I'm in a world of discomfort. Just got a bronchoscopy done. The saline solution, brushes, and biopsies caused a bit of discomfort because I already am sick and coughing, so with a tube down my throat into my lungs squirting saline solution, taking my flesh, and causing bleeding, I coughed up a lot and totally was moving violently during the procedure. I could not stop myself. I was choking on my own blood and mucus without feeling it (tetracaine to the throat). But now its done and my throat and chest are a bit sore. Hopefully this time they get a diagnosis. Otherwise, next it is time to stick a needle through my chest wall into my lungs for another biopsy. I hate needles.
