1248!

I think I can handle 1248 if I have multiple flys per cup.

However, if you meant 1248 factorial, I'll never get done!

Considering the nutritional value of 100g of flies for humans I meant exactly what the mathematical notation said ... ;) :eek:
Please consider that probably 80-85% of the weight of the fly is not nutritionally usable for humans. :evil:

I and my wife just have eaten a great dinner: it was very tasty, just the right amount, with a very good wine ... :)

We had a glas of champagne as a starter. It kind of setr the mood. We were somewhat giggly and very happy.

The main course was a leg of lamb for my wife. It was so tender, it almost fell off the joint. The taste was just fabulous. With the lamb was a rössti ( a Swiss potato specialty) and a great vegetable stew - it just was heavenly. With the lamb was a californian red, (I am too tipsy to remeber the name ... ;) )
Ther main course for me was a aheavenly good entrecot, just perfectly made (rare-medium-rare), with a hand made sause Bearnaise with just the right amount of herbs and some of the best fries I have ever eaten. I had the same wine as my wife. ;D;

The deserts were just as good:
My wife had Gino made of strawberries, kiwi and bananas and heated with white chocolate.
I had a most wonderful Créme Brulée, with some lime sorbet.
With the desert we had a very good "Eiswein" - again, I am too tipsy to remeber the name, and too lazy to check the check, :eek:

We walked home through the city, hand in hand, just so happy and tipsy, as it can be. I am still smiling.
I will be smiling for the next hours, and tomorrow I'll wake up smiling. :D

This was just a great dinner. :sun:

And, no, my posts are not off topic. the food was food, the lamb and entrecote were BBQ'ed and the accessories belong to the food.

Hugh, I have spoken. :)

I had a good weekend too. Had a few drinks and couldn't find my glasses or flashlight in the morning. Spent hours trying to find them, and ends up they were in a boat down the road. :eek: (So much for just having to check the fridge)

Sunday killed some hard drives (apparently they are allergic to lead). Went Office Space on a HP LaserJet P1006--and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Monday went to Ikea and wife bought stuff for redoing the living room.

Now time to get back to work and studying. And putting furniture together at home, and clean the guns, and the rest of the stuff on the list of things to do.

That's Latin for "Please ignore this thread and eat something that has been barbecued followed by a refreshing, cold limoncello."

I'm thinking about getting a Core i7 860 with an Asus P7P55D EVO and 8GB of RAM... is that enough heat to BBQ on if I put F@H on it?

Depends what you are BBQing, and how much at a time. But I think that will be close. :)

Now what may this be.
It is a very famous book .... written by a very famous and quite powerful man ... who also had a relative who killed him ... ;)

A different famous first stanza:

Arma virumque cano, Troiae qui primus ab oris
Italiam, fato profugus, Laviniaque venit
litora, multum ille et terris iactatus et alto
vi superum saevae memorem Iunonis ob iram;
multa quoque et bello passus, dum conderet urbem,
inferretque deos Latio, genus unde Latinum,
Albanique patres, atque altae moenia Romae.

And an English translation:
Arms, and the man I sing, who, forc'd by fate,
And haughty Juno's unrelenting hate,
Expell'd and exil'd, left the Trojan shore.
Long labors, both by sea and land, he bore,
And in the doubtful war, before he won
The Latian realm, and built the destin'd town;
His banish'd gods restor'd to rites divine,
And settled sure succession in his line,
From whence the race of Alban fathers come,
And the long glories of majestic Rome.

Any guess!

I think a more correct grammer would be:

Vir simulus, ille frigidus est! = A flatnosed man, he is cold!

(simulus: lating slang: flatnosed)
I suspect you meant similis, which could mean similar, or like ... ;)

Man, like that is cool! (A saying from the fifties!)

It lost a little something in the translation, or spelling, or both.
