They pulled this crap with Bryan in Family Guy. All about ratings. They'll probably bring the character back.

I personally can't wait to see The Simpsons/family Guy crossover. I watch Family Guy all the time and every night on [Adult Swim].

Because as soon as a real life person dies the dork's seem to add it to Wikipedia in hours! Well, I beat them! -removed link- LMAO!

HAHAHAHA! Someone already edited the damn page reversing my edit. In one minute! FUCK!

Ah, now I think I know what happened. I was attacked by a bot.

That's it? That's who they killed off? I got it DVR'd but didn't care enough to wait to watch it.

since when is he considered a major and iconic character? Might as well kill of extra #21 and call it iconic. Way to fight for viewership

It's like family saying that they're taking you to a nice Italian restaurant for your birthday, only to arrive at Olive Garden.

I didn't have high hopes going in. The writing staff doesn't take risks anymore. However, I still find it ridiculous that they spent a year hyping up a death of a character that only had two major appearances in 20 years. Rest of the episode was watchable, but fairly forgettable.

Truth is the Simpsons have been down in the ratings. Last season was their lowest watched ever. So episodes like these are a stunt. I really wish they had done what Seinfeld did and went out on top. Everybody's starting to think it's been on way too long. Getting harder for Matt Groening and FOX to keep passing the naysayers off as out of touch nerds. Not when Judge Judy is consistently pulling in better numbers. It's true, go look it up.

The whole Family Guy/Simpsons crossover was a big meh. Especially since they have been showing clips of the episode for months. I felt like I basically saw the whole thing before it even aired.

Discussing killing off a random stupid cartoon character is about as riveting to intellectually contemplate as which pretty pattern on the napkins and paper towels shall I buy?
