That's odd, I've been getting WU's left and right...just got a batch running for the last 12 hours with updates here and there.

I'll probably plow through this current batch and then see where things stand. Still want to make my goal for 1 million in PG before the end of the year. Time will tell.

question...I have a machine that ran out of work and want to upgrade the boinc client.

I see there's a 64-bit Boinc client...anyone here uses that one?
I've been using the 32-bit for the longest time...

Any advantage\disadvantage noticed?

Thanks

wayliff, I use the 64 bit client. The only advantage I've noticed is it's optimized for 64-bit OS's.

Thanks for the input.

In the end, I opted for the 32-bit version, even when having a 64-bit OS, it seems like many projects do have their WUs compatible? with 64-bit, or something to that effect and it ends up not working.

At least that is what google returned with a couple of searches.

Catch up: 18 days (according to BOINCstats)

Same numbers published @SG, but in German.

I have discussed this a little over @ SG.
It seems that we really broke Correlizer - it seems it was not designed for two teams alone crunching approx 380000 credits/day when the rest of the crunching is approx 150K credits. Just now TA and SG crunch approx 2/3 of all WUs.
That takes some preparation from the admins point of view ...

oops. ()🙂

My 2600K will run out of work in less than an hour. The other rigs have enough work for 2-3 hours.

Thanks for the stats, Peter! looking good!! 🙂

Ditto on "no work to do". My computer is sitting idle. Work units were trickling in last night (not enough to load my CPU), but there's nothing right now, and i'm not sure for how long that's been the case.

We have 11 TeAm members among the top-22 in production i Correlizer,

I wish I had more time to get the others in too, but I have to go: on-call-duty! 😱

The correlizer web page is down and I'm getting unable to connect to server errors on boinc. My slowest computer has plenty of work, one is idle and the other 2 will be idle soon.

Got 20 or so WU's sitting here unable to upload. Got some world community grid WUs crunching while correlizer is down.

I guess you can have too much of a good thing 😛

well actually they did mention that much over on the Correlizer message boards...i don't recall the specifics, but they're working on getting a multi-server operation up and running. the downside is that they said it would be weeks before it was all done...

I'm going to give it another 2 hours before I start an OS reinstall on one of my machines. I have a good 30 WU's waiting to upload. Stinks to have them wasted.

I really wanted to check my score this morning - it's a bummer that we took out the project 😉

Looks like it is back and way faster than before (the website, that is...)

1400+ tasks waiting for validation... sheesh!
