The Second Amendment is...

I'd like to actually see you quote the entire second ammendment as verbatim from the Bill of Rights.

That would be amusing.

Ask and ye shall receive...

A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Uhhh...why?
I think he thought he was being clever and that it is some long and convoluted statement. Too bad for him it is a clear and concise sentence...

... despite the best efforts of the VPC and the Brady Campaign. They can't change what it says, and what it says is as clear as the summer sun.

Too bad the government likes infringing on it everyday. 🙁

anti-gun nuts don't realize that police only show up after the crime to draw chalk outlines and figure out why you got killed and who did it ...

If we all carried firearms, 9/11 wouldn't have been a tragedy ... 19 gun totin' hijackers are no match for several hundred gun totin' Americans. 🙂

and the 2nd ammendment was also written before there were laws allowing the federal government to raise a standing army -- that's the only reason it was ever put into play.

Nope. Was just wonder how long it was going to take you to cut'n'paste it.

Forgot - I recently asked a middle school history class to do the same thing in a volunteer thing. Most all of them quoted the Declairation of Independence.

I support the second amendment. But I think its widely misconstrued and people just make up their own meaning and run with.

I  the 2nd Amendment
I  living in a shall issue state
I  my CHL

That should pretty well make my views clear.
