Because of course he did. And he's talked to lots of people about quitting.

Looking forward to the 1 year mark in this administration when it will resemble the final minutes of the Titianic sinking.
 
Also should note that his non denial will do nothing but fuel the story in the media, exactly the opposite of what Trump would want.

Loved the part where he had to declare Trump "smart".

Does it really matter? I imagine anyone not in the Trump cult realizes the story is most likely true. The people who are in the cult won’t care even if there are tapes. They will just claim they are fakes or whatever.

I remember during the campaign Legendkiller said Trunp’s campaign manager didn’t assault that reporter. Then when a tape supporting her side of the story came out he insisted the tape was a fabrication.
 
This reminds me of when owners/GMs give their head coach the dreaded vote of confidence only to fire them two weeks later.
 
I believe that everyone should be grateful that we do have some dedicated Americans in this administration who are trying to do their very best on our behalf.

Tillerson is still only in it for the money in an indirect way, he just needs the world to not blow up in his face thanks to Drumpf..
 
Interesting..NBC got the leak from "senior administration officials who were aware of the situation at the time." But why leak it now? Somebody has a long knife out, pointed at Tillerson's back.

My guess: Steve Bannon...Bannon wants total isolationism and Tillerson actually seems to recognize the value of talking to other nations. Plus, his first-hand knowledge of WH events stopped about then, or he'd have something fresher to leak.

I think it was a Pentagon meeting it's in the link. Seems like a bunch of people heard it and I'd guess all that shit is recorded and Senators can review it.
 
I'd bet Rex totally said that, as this reeks of damage control and fear. If it was the fake news Dump wishes it to be, Rex would just ignore it like so many other things he's ignored or passed on taking comment.

But this gets an emergency press session? lol

Dump doesn't sound 100% on his dismissal of it either, there is an edge of irritation there that gives it away. Poor snowflake needs his feels massaged, yet again.
