please explain....

If you had a non-low football IQ, you would not have asked your original question.

Think about it: Would you rather end the game with a couple kneel-downs from the victory formation or have your special teams and defense risk injury and/or a miracle finish?

I actually almost got into that with a very good buddy and fellow 49er fan, I fall on the Montana side, he's on the Young side. We agreed to just drop it pretty fast :D

My favorite way to stir the pot is to ask if either (or both) would have been as successful if they had come in reverse order (i.e. Young in 1979, Montana in 1987).

That should show you how serious we are about our Football around these parts. A lot more so then these other teams fans

From all 68 of those photos, it looks more like you guys are stalking him. FFS, a pic of the van every 1/2 mile? lol, I love football.

Manning and Hutchinson are good pals too, which I'm sure motivated Tennessee to sign him.

Hutch was originally drafted here in Seattle. With Hutch and Walter Jones on the left, and Shaun Alexander in the backfield, the run game was unstoppable here for a couple seasons. Sweep left was guarantee of 5 yards minimum, and the defense would know it is coming. Good times....

Letting Hutch go for basically Nate Burleson is still regarded as one of the Seahawks biggest front office blunders. It was handled very poorly all the way around.

I wonder how many Denver fans are going to jump off a building if they don't get Manning.

Zero

We don't whine around these parts. Peyton Hillis, Cutler, Shefler and B Marsh all leave and we didn't even whine that much. McDaniels raping our team and we're all pretty much over it already.

We don't whine here.

We will be more than happy with Tebow if we don't get Manning

Or have Peyton get hurt while sliding on the turf? He is not a scrambling QB, so any chance he does scramble, you do not want him on the ground.

Don't put words in our mouths... you speak for you and you alone

I most certainly am not happy with Tebow. However I also don't expect to get Manning. I don't see him playing in an open field known for the erratic weather.

I'd love to live in Denver. Only problem would be being that close to those damn Broncos and their fans. Colorado is incredible.

True that...do we have any idea what the Colts lineup look like right now?

http://www.colts.com/team/roster.html

We're fucked...

They've actually been signing people believe it or not. They signed a couple of defensive players from Baltimore and a couple of big offensive linemen, and I expect they'll draft OL, WR, CB/FS/SS, and maybe a TE in addition to obviously draft Luck.

Make no mistake, though -- next year will be brutal and they're likely going to land a top 3 or 5 spot in the draft again. If Barkley is hyped next year and the Colts pick #1 or #2, look for them to pull a trade on the level of the trade the Rams pulled with the Redskins.
