Alex can't play the sympothy card, he had a 3 year $24 (I believe) million contract before all this started. He won't get more anywhere else, unless the Redskins owner suddenly starts giving the 'fins contract advice.

I can understand why Peyton went with Denver, he is sure to win at least division title. AFC West is a joke.

Nothing is a sure thing. I've seen people say all 6 division games will be wins for Denver next season. The AFC West isn't as easy to win as some may think.

:hmm:

Yet they stumbled into the playoffs with an 8-8 record. Don't kid yourself, the division is terrible.

Yes, the division has been bad. Adding Manning doesn't guarantee the Broncos will win the division though.

Raiders were looking good--until Campbell and McInjury went down.
Chargers had a horrible year (lets hope it was just one).

Denver should be the cream of the West, of course--but the division could very easily turn around.

Denver's got non-Divisional games against Pittsburgh, Houston, New Orleans, Tampa, Baltimore, New England, Atlanta, and Carolina.

They could easily go 1-7 or 0-8 for those games.

Why did you bump not one but both of the dead Peyton Manning threads with an article on a preseason game performance when we have an active preseason thread?

Because I posted in the wrong one initially.
This was the more popular thread and the one I wanted to post in.

The other one only deals with the "press" conference. This one seems to talk about everything else.
