The Rain/Smog will hide the poor texture models of the vast number of NPCs they'll try and cram into this next game. So at least that's kind of a plus?
Cyberpunk 2077, if it comes out in 2015, is the biggest draw to me.
There were plenty of others, but I'll be waiting for sales and all that. I have enough of a backlog that purchasing new doesn't make a lot of sense.
Cyberpunk 2077 is most certainly not coming out in 2015. Most likely not 2016 either. If I had to guess, we're looking at a 2017 release for that game at the very earliest.
No Fallout 4, no care.
Stuff I'm looking forward to:
I have high expectations for The Witcher 3. Not much else to say about that one that hasn't already been said.
I'm (admittedly) excited to play the "Resident Evil 1, remake, HD remaster, now on PC" for the 5th time.
2015
2 + 0 + 1 + 5 = 8
(8 x 3) = 24
2 - 4 = -2
Half life 2: Episode 2 came out in 2007
2 + 0 + 0 + 7 = 9
9 / 3 = 3
HALF LIFE 3 CONFIRMED!
Ubisoft just has a very poor attitude when it comes to production. The large numbers of NPCs is certainly good for the evolution of gameplay. After this I want more advanced AI and customization of NPCs and emergent gameplay. The Shadow of Mordor is one of the few AAA games recently that I have had much interest in playing so I am waiting for it to go on sale for under $15 or something.

Star Citizen is one of the most ridiculously-overhyped video games I have ever seen in my life and I look forward to enjoying all of the online anger and butthurt when it actually comes out and doesn't meet people's expectations.
Can't wait for this statement to come true. It's extremely overhyped and gamers LOVE to buy into the hype train.
Can't wait for it to blow up in their faces like a beautiful facial.
I don't care about the game, but I also would like it to be really great, and that people that are hyped get their expectations fulfilled. It's a different game, not another Call of Duty 3929 or Assassins Creed 100 or Grand Theft Auto 28, so it'd be great if it succeeds.I would rather it turn out to be incredible and serve as a huge middle finger to AAA publishers who don't believe PC gamers are worth targeting.
Don't understand all the animosity towards folks who are optimistic about this game.
For sure buys at release, barring terrible reviews/problems:
Grand Theft Auto 5
Batman: Arkham Knight
Just Cause 3
The Witcher 3
Lot of other stuff looks good, but not $40+ good. Will wait for reduced prices on a lot of games. Anything Ubisoft, will wait for $10 or less and months of patches.
Looks a lot better than 2014 though. Barely bought anything last year.
Oh, and I hope Oculus comes out this year! Then will buy more racing games.
Nothing against people who like the game.I would rather it turn out to be incredible and serve as a huge middle finger to AAA publishers who don't believe PC gamers are worth targeting.

3D checkers???Well theres one game. But I wont mention it cuz we already have a thread and people get bent out of shape just saying the name.
Nothing against people who like the game.
I just expect it to flop after being hyped for this long
I really, really hope that it comes out and it awesome beyond anyone's wildest expectations. I hope that it is the killer app that springs Oculus into mainstream gaming, because we really need a full game that shows that it can be more than a gimmick. I really hope that it brings Wing Commander type space games back.
But, I also think that it has been hyped beyond the ability for anything to meet expectations. I think that even if it is a damn good game it is going to disappoint enough people that it is going to be proclaimed a failure, and that the butthurt screams of the internet feeling betrayed by their own unattainable expectations will sink it.
Then I'm going to get it for like 3 dollars on a steam sale and enjoy the hell out of it for years along with a small, but dedicated, community that will keep it alive with mods and community patches.
