As much as I'd like to say it's a bad death... I'd think that through the wood chippers would be pretty quick.
If the wood chippers were of adequate power/speed, the death would be more like instantaneous. Gruesome, yes; inhumane, no.

Just another example that the Humane Society of the United States represents the interests of 'animal rights' whackos and is not the 'mainstream animal welfare' organization it purports to be. This is a group that was founded by former PETA officials and has absolutely no relationship whatsoever on any level with your local humane society shelters, nor do most humane society shelters want anything to do with the animal rights extremism of HSUS or PETA.
