I've been purchasing PS4 multiplatform games solely because the graphics usually are better. Now for thsoe with only an X1 there isn't much to say there, but if you own both consoles why would you purchase an inferior versoin?

The resolutoin difference may or may not matter to you, but some games have had a framerate cut in half, which should be a fairly obvious difference.

would depend on the game.

any game that is FPS would be x1 automatically due to controller reasons. same with racing games.

i'd play any online game on xbl over psn any day of the week. the experience i've had with both is just COMPLETELY better on xbl. granted, i haven't played but 1 game on psn on ps4, but the comparison on ps3 was enough to jade me of psn.

any fighter i'd get on xb1 also because i already spent $200 on a joystick at launch.

so basically, i'd get pretty much any multiplat game on x1 over ps4 at this point. i'd need a good reason to get it on ps4 instead.

See this is where you need to expand your horizons a bit. The PS4 online play is exactly the same as it is on the XB1 provided the game's netcode is any good. Having played Destiny and Battlefield 4 on both I noticed no network difference. Writing off the PS4 without trying it is 100% unfair. I can understand the controller thing (especially the fight stick) because I have my preference there too.

well once there is a ps4 game that interests me, it might change. there is just nothing on the ps4 that i have any interest in that is even in the horizon, other than sf5 and hsg.

and i didn't say "ps4 online sucks", i said i'm jaded because of the ps3 experience and that i would rather play on x1 because i've always had better experiences on x1. and the controller is better.

granted, i doubt i'll purchase another fps in general cause i've been tired of that genre for years now.

i probably won't play on psn again until hot shots golf 7 or sf5 comes out, unless there is something that is coming out that i don't know about.

Speaking of Street Fighter 5. If I get SF5 at all it will probably be on PC because I don't want to buy another fight stick for my PS4. Assuming the driver for PS3 fightsticks won't be included for us to use those.

Who else has been crushing the ultimate sale this week? I picked up costume quest 2, sniper elite and the tomb raider mini game. So cheap. Hopefully CQ2 is as good as the first.

Also the new controller update has changed my gaming life. It connects almost instantly now.

Did you have to run the controller update with a cable, or was it purely system related?

I agree. Watching a movie or something on Netflix if the controller is off you used to have to wait a bit longer before it syncs. Now its much better.

I've not touched a sale game yet. The only I've considered is a re-purchase of Rivals for $10, as I sold it about a month after lunch for $30-35. It's an OK game to play on the rare occasion for that price, but it really shows off either a poor Kinect or a poor game because of its inconsistencies. I had hoped for FH2 or the Season Pass of Sunset Overdrive, and maybe the game itself.

Damn.. My Kinnect wasn't working the other day and I was chompin on some ribs. Had to go wash my hands to use the remote. I felt a bit lost.

Man, I was having a heck of a time doing anything online the past couple of days, so I decided to check my router set up and discovered my XBOX had switched MAC addresses on me.

Never had that happen before.

Uhhhh....MAC addresses are hard coded to the network interface. Somehow it'd have to be spoofed. That's really bizarre.

That is what I thought. I had it set up for that MAC to have a static IP. However, unless something change on my router config without me actually doing it, the MAC for the Xbox was different than it was when I entered it.

I hope this helps solve my issue with Dragon Ball Xenoverse. I've been forced to play offline.

It'll have separate MAC's for the LAN and Wireless adapters. Would one of them been enabled over the other somehow?

You can set up Mac Spoofing on the "advance settings" in your network settings. That'll let you 'change' your mac
