Mine used to work fine when it was positioned on top of a bookcase about 5 feet high and I would be sitting on the couch about 10 feet away and about 2 feet off the ground. I recently moved it right in front of the tv on the tv stand so it's about 2 feet off the ground and now it doesn't seem to recognize me visually and the voice commands are less accurate.

I will probably do the setup again.

i was assuming that if i don't have a kinect plugged in, i probably don't want to have to do anything with anyone's kinect (mine or someone i'm playing against). and if i plugged in a headset, then it would just default to the headset speakers.

i still can't believe that i cannot globally disable hearing other people online or at least set it to friends only, and that i have to manually sign in to xbox live every time i turn on my xbox one.

but yeah, i guess thinking ms had common sense with operating system was my mistake.

I think there is a "mute everyone but friends" options. I know it is available for minor accounts. Check under the parental controls or google around for it. It was on the 360.

it's definitely not on the xbox1, i searched for it long ago and it's simply not there. yet another step backwards.
 
Bf4 is pissing me off. It took to long to start error or it won't let me into any game mode. This is driving me crazy. It keeps crashing back to the dashboard left and right

I don't have an x1 but I was playing a day ago on ps4 and it hasn't crashed once. Usually it would crash 2 times or more previously.
 
I've been playing cod since cod2 so this bf4 is a huge difference online I'm lucky to go positive.
Ryse I don't like at all, I'm not into hack and slash games my buddy bought it and left it here
 
I'm about done with this game, I put it on craigslist to trade even up for ghosts or dead rising 3. I can't believe this game has so many issues. I only got it because it was fine for me on ps4 so i figured xbone would be the same way. I call GameStop and they say oh trash that game has all kinds of issues but when I bought it two days ago and asked about it having issues in the store they said it was good online

It is the same as every other DR3. They have a formula some people like, and it works. The game is really good, if you like Dead Rising. I've had a blast with it.

I heard that BF4 has a cache issue. I was having the same issue over the weekend. I reinstalled but later discovered online a solution was to hold the power button for 5-10 seconds to reset the cache.

At first, xbox1 wouldn't control my cable box. thought it was the IR Blaster setting, but when setup my replacement unit (for maybe a faulty power supply), I was having problems again. Only got it to work, when I manually changed the make and model to something different, and then changed it back. Might want to give that a shot...

I played it and after an hour I only finished it because I spent $60 on it and wanted my $40 trade in.

Just depends on what you like. Had both of them for the PS3. Traded them for Ghosts for the Xbone. Getting BF4 again never entered my mind. I prefer the COD style of gameplay, plus BF4 has numerous issues to work through.
