I didn't get in on the Live deal at Best Buy, they should probably stock more than a few units. But I did pick one up Saturday anyway. I've played a bit of Black Flag and some Destiny, since I got the upgrade to One Destiny for buying the digital version. I'm going to need more games to see what the system can do, but so far I'm not impressed with the OS. I've seen mention elsewhere in this thread that the One was step backwards in the dashboard, and good lord they were right. This horizontal scrolling crap has got to stop, for one. I've had the OS lock up on me just browsing the dashboard. Options are hidden in weird places. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but what was wrong with building on what they had with the 360?

Yea the OS is clustered. I prefer the ps4 OS. I like how the Xbox plays any media I throw at it pretty much.

Target has a buy 2 get one free deal on games this week. It started Sunday but I'm going tomorrow during lunch and trying to get halo, SO, and probably cod.

I don't have any games currently to see if I like playing with the Xbox controller vs the ps4.

I was set on getting HMCC today but I am reading a ton of issues with matchmaking, long wait times etc

I just want it for the sp mostly as I haven't played it in forever. Maybe a bit of multiplayer too. My guess is I'll go to target lunch time and they will be sold out.

In case they are I need a third game besides SO and Cod. I don't even want cod but it always has a high trade value. Looks like I can pick up other exclusives during black Friday but I have 0 games since I've bought the Xbox.

Will that deal let you mix games from ps4/one/wii etc?

Yea it says all games all platforms. I have enough ps4 games though. Too bad it wasn't next week so I could pick up far cry 4 on the Xbox too.

And BF best buy will have Diablo 3, evil within, and some other games for $30. But you may need to get there early for them. I'll go during the evening to see if I can get Ryse.

I'm impressed at the ps4 bundle they have, gta v and last of us with a ps4 for $399.

Pick up a game today and keep one sealed and exchange it next week for FC. Ryse is definitely worth playing, it isnt some AAA game or anything but it is a short but fun game. It is the best looking game I have ever seen, even better than Infamous imo. I would like to see a sequel with them expanding on the core they have laid down with part 1 but I doubt that will happen.

Yea target will give me $40 if I just return one game and open the other 2 but I'm not sure if you can return just one of the 3. I guess if I can't find halo today that's what I'll do. I'll need to check on that. Gonna wait till black Friday at best buy to see if I can find Ryse.

I'd just roll the dice and see about getting games on Black Friday online. Apparently, Elite and Elite Plus members at Best Buy (which my dad's account is Elite Plus because he has his TV purchase, my One purchase, my grandma's TV purchase, and my brother-in-law's One purchase on there for 2014) get early Black Friday access, meaning on Wednesday. That would be through online, meaning Black Friday deals as a whole SHOULD be online.

The DLC-inclusive version of Ryse will be $30 on Black Friday, meaning $24 with GCU, so I'd DEFINITELY skip the $25 amazon price for the base game. The things I want to get on Black Friday for games at Best Buy...it's so much. $25 each for Mordor (which I beat and would get as a gift), Metro, Forza's complete edition, Dead Rising's complete edition, and The Evil Within. $30 each for NBA 2K15 and Ryse's complete edition, and $15 for the boxed set of The Elder Scrolls Anthology on PC?! I mean, my wallet aches an ache only Valve can cause.

Just got cod aw, halo mmc, and Sunset overdrive at target. Best buy still has gcu until the 16th so I could buy another game and pay $30 for gcu or I could wait until black Friday and get that game or more games for less.

Yea my wallet won't like me this season and I still need to give the younger siblings money for xmas.

Oh, that can totally happen. It has speech recognition, but not user-specific voice recognition. I was playing a round of CoD yesterday, and when the announcer in the game said, "Enemy Taking Bravo," it somehow interpreted that as "Xbox, Stop Broadcast," and it popped up Twitch as I was about to shoot at someone, and it got me killed. It was super annoying.

I want to get MCC + COD:AW and SSB but online I can't pick SSB as the 3rd game for free... Anyone know if I can do that in store?

Or, could I pick a 3rd game now and just exchange it maybe?

I got the same games in store. I could not do it online either. If you buy and return all three and tell them you want to swap the free title they may let you do that as long as it's still in stock and the deal is on. But I found it easier to go in the store and get them.

A few guys picked up cod and halo and the rest of the shoppers were housewives so they had plenty of games in stock during my lunch hour.

? Your third game was Sunset Overdrive... I ask because SSB isn't out yet... comes out in 10 days.

smash bros

Yea if a game isn't out yet I don't think you can get the deal since there are different titles available online for buy 2 get one vs in store.

Edit: So you can still get 3 games and if you want SSB then don't open them and take them all back the day the game is released. You can return one game so they see it was part of the buy 2 get one deal and you get $40+ tax and you can use that to buy smash brothers.

Another edit: installing sunset overdrive is taking some time. Disconnected from wifi and it was a bit quicker.

Can anyone tell me where you local saved data is? I want to start over in sunset overdrive.

Also, installs are taking forever it seems. Why does the internet need to be disconnected to have them go faster? I'm not sure what I'm doing but halo has been at 2% for over 35 minutes.

Halo has a 15GB update to install first.

You can delete local save data under My Games and Apps > highlight game > menu button > manage game > scroll to the right under save data and press A. You can delete the save data from the console or delete everywhere which will also delete the cloud save.

Every game you play will save automatically to the cloud as well. When you start an app or game with no save data on your HDD it will sync your save from the cloud if there is one. So to start completely over you may need to delete everywhere or play offline. I'm not sure how that would work. You can try deleting from the console and seeing what happens.

Thanks looks like ill have to try installing tomorrow to play it as I didn't have time to figure it all out.

I may need to just swap my Ethernet power line adapter to the Xbox during install process to make it quicker. It didn't take longer than 10-15 min to let me in the game but playing also takes time to download additional features.

I'll have to get an external drive as well if I plan on keeping more than one game installed.

Coming from the ps4 where it usually installs in a few minutes this was somewhat of a shock haha.
